Glad to hear. I am visiting someone with gut issues in the spring. I was going to make her Bacillus Coagulants. She has dairy issues. Dr. Davies says it can be made with coconut cream. And if she likes it teach her how to make it. Mine are all made with cream.

When a person considers themselves to be a “nice” person, they often pretend to find people who speak the truth offensive. Nothing “nice” about a person who is willing to indulge others in their delusions and say nice things to keep their “nice person” persona intact for the sake of popularity and peace and fitting in with the crowd, knowing there’ll be an honest person around somewhere who is virtuous and strong enough to be the fall guy and say what the “nice” people are actually thinking (and who are strong enough and virtuous enough to risk being attacked and called a big meanie) for them. So then they can clutch their pearls and act offended and gossip about the perceived “rude” person’s alleged offensiveness.. Christians excel at that pathetic type of dishonesty and manipulation in particular.
After being vegan 11 years now I’m finally healing and recently discovered Skyr yogurt with the egg yolk, sooo yum. I still like full fat coconut milk & yoghurt but I can’t stand soy now. I couldn't handle finishing the last block of tofu that was in my fridge. Away with you!!
As a coeliac, I think it is sad when people purposefully limit their diet out of pure choice. I have to limit my diet or I will get very sick. I have to be strictly gluten-free. And believe me, there are foods that I miss that I used to be able to have, some of them there are no gluten-free versions Available to me to my knowledge. But there are others where I have tried the gluten-free version and it is disgusting and I have just said no, not doing that any more. when I go to potluck dinners and things like that, I take extra gluten-free dishes assuming there will be other people like me at the potluck, because I know now, after nearly 4 years of being gluten-free, how it can feel when you go somewhere and there's lots of food and you can't have any of it. Here's the thing. I have to do that out of necessity and for genuine health reasons. I just don't understand how somebody can limit their diet and cut out foods they "used to"love, out of sheer choice and for no actual medical reason. not only do I not understand it, but I won't accommodate to these people. I refused to make vegan or even vegetarian dishes, just to accommodate somebody's dietary choices. They have a choice, so I have a hard time feeling sorry for all having sympathy for these people when they be moan the foods that they can no longer have because they choose that diet.
Have you does Billie Eliash or whatever her name is? I saw on a vegan Facebook post they were bragging she was vegetarian until age 12 then went vegan. I googled if she had broken any bones. Apparently she’s always getting injured and has to wear a boot. She’s really injury prone.
She doesn’t seem mentally well either. I find her creepy, beyond the manufactured creepiness.. She makes very dark music, seems to be just another industry tool of the elites to promote dark crap to young people to corrupt their minds.
As a vegan I craved soy yogurts so much despite not finding them good. It's only later that I realized that they were almost the main protein source for me at this point...
i think what you eat is relevant even though. you aren't out here claiming to be a nutritionist or selling eating plans like these vegans. the fact that you don't rigidly plan your meals as an omnivore yet you still feel better than when you were a vegan with much more rigid planning is interesting.
Yogurt was the last thing I gave up... but I never gave up butter 🧈...after deleting yogurt, boy did my digestion take a big nose dive after a little while -- which I conveniently ignored until hospitalized. Now I am carnivore, and a yogurt almost daily helps my gut tremendously.

Good for you and your realization. Some long-term vegans I’ve met IRL have no idea about the changes in complexion and skin texture that happen. Then you see them in a group of non-vegan people, and the differences are really stark. Good luck with the diet changes, and remember your experiences and your body are what matter.

Nothing is worse than vegan yoghurt. I'm Aussie, and have tried all the brands down here, the coconut ones are always too rich and the soy is so artificial tasting, and this was tasting it after I went vegan too. My son and I greek yogurt often, it's not the same.

@Jules2468 nah I love the regular mushrooms with meats and meat gravies but they can't replace meat and those weird medicinal mushrooms the vegans put in all their powders are gross. Though the big caps baked with lots of parmesan on top are pretty good on their own. Unnatural vegan has that mushroom aversion thing but I wouldn't be surprised if y'all were mildly allergic, but maybe it's up there next to the cilantro soap experience
I know I commented this same thing when you touched on this person around thanksgiving, but I have to say it again. I saw her for the first time a few months or so back, an upload of hers randomly popped up in my yt feed. She was kind of funny, I slightly enjoyed her dry/sarcastic humor. However, I realized a ways through the video that, you know… I think some of this isn’t actually humor, she seems pretty miserable. I opened up the comments and it was filled with a ton from longtime subs saying things like… love you girl, but you seem so down, are you ok? Or essentially that they missed how she used to be fun and bubbly/silly and that they’re worried about her. Again, I’m not a sub of hers so I’m not sure what it is, but she does seem pretty joyless and stuck, for lack of a better description. Maybe it’s personal matters, maybe it’s YT burnout… whatever it is, her diet is not doing her any favors. I think if she would attempt to re-introduce nutritious foods back into her life, not just for the sake of nutrition… she I’ll bet she’d have a newfound sense of happiness and joy whilst no longer depriving herself of what her body desires and needs.
I was talking to the younger of my 2 vegan sisters this morning. I had sent her an email of an example of Michael Greger's deception, because she is an avid follower of his, rushing to buy the products he recommends, & only avoiding things that he warns about. She said she'd rather die than eat meat, so she believes she'll never eat meat, no matter what. She went on to say that the sooner she dies, the better, anyway (she's nearly 41), because life is depressing & pointless.

The Coconut Cult has the best vegan yogurt on the market imo. It’s better than dairy, but it’s a bougie brand unfortunately. Expensive and usually sold at Whole Foods or specialty stores. I’ve tried Silk and So Delicious. Silk is decent. So D is horrible-very watery. Tried making my own and it wasn’t any good.
Just me, but I am so over everything that is "dairy free" being made with coconut milk/cream etc. I don't like coconut that much, and it really ruins the taste of vanilla or chocolate soy ice-cream or yogurt for me. It is literally in every store bought non-dairy product by me, and I am really sick of it. I haven't found a Fat-Free "dairy desert" that isn't really disappointing, so I rather have the dairy-free products instead. I used to be able to find really nice versions of dairy-free fake ice-creams and yogurts with soy. But lately, now that soy based stuff has fallen out of favour with so many people, the coconut has been added to everything, and the protein is also reduced. Yuck. Even if I did like coconut, I still wouldn't want it in everything🙄. I should probably learn to make my own from scratch, but I am honestly not much of a food scientist. I really love and miss normal ice-cream, but it actively hates me back.
Why don’t you partake in full fat yogurt? You’re missing out. You don’t need to eat as much of full fat to feel satisfied. I find low fat to be full of sugar. I’d rather eat plain full fat topped with my desired amount of sweetness from honey.

Skyr (Icelandic yoghurt) is amazing. It’s super high in protein, so rich and filling. I use it as a base for tons of desserts. Highly recommended.

I accidentally bought the kiefer. The word coconut was very tiny. That was not kiefer.
Agave syrup has even more fructose than high fructose corn syrup, so it's even worse for you than HFCS.

we have pili nuts here in the philippines. it has a bitter aftertaste. not a fan. though I'm not sure if its just because of how it is prepared.

Honestly when I was vegan the best non dairy yoghurt was the silk soy yogurt and my favorite vegan ice cream was the nada moo so rich and creamy.
