Hello "SandraH", you are more beautiful than ever that positive attitude and that contagious joy changes you a lot. Greetings I was very impressed.....
I knew a girl who always had to make sure her lower legs were strapped to her wheelchair. Her legs would either kick or her spasms would make her feet come off her footplate
Hi there Sandra, it's a weird feeling getting those spasms, I get them in my right leg if I position it a certain way. Can't stop it jumping around like crazy. Doesn't hurt, just a bit creepy after my SCI 3.5 years ago.
That helped me a lot, Sandra! Thank you so,so much! My spasms are in my stomach and last long so I had put my upper body in the false position I've seen watching your video. I'm so thankful! With my M 25 - wheels it's way harder to do wheelies, they write in their description it isn't allowed. But I must do them, to master a curbe.g.! What do they think how I live? I only get 1 to 2 second - wheelies but I train. Thanks for all! Be blessed!
Hi there! oh never heard about a wheelchair to not be allowed for wheelies. that's new for me. Good to hear you are training. Thank you for your message! Have a nice day!
I had a friend with a T5 injury in high school and her legs would sometimes spasm like that too. Do your legs sometimes have a spasm and kick straight out? My friend could trigger those and she always thought it was funny to “kick” someone. They would always be so confused - they didn’t understand that spasms can still make a persons leg move even though they are paralyzed. Thanks for sharing!
Hi there! Thank your message! No, I don't have that kind of spasms. People don't understand til they have someone close with paralysis or they deal with paralysis.
That's so cool you're doing that. Is like a basic must know fundamental WC skill. I know if the center of gravity isn't just right, wheelies and balancing are more difficult to do and maintain. Do the spasms with the keg extension throw off your balance though? Have a blessed day...
Hi there! How are things with you? Yes, it is smth basic that can help us on daily live also. Right about the center of gravity. And yes, if I get leg spasms than my balance is not good.
@@SandraHwheelchair Doing fine here. You as well I hope. Practice makes perfect, many here say. Me, no. I say perfection impossible but I definitely have much room for improvement. It happens to me sometimes also that my feet are coming off of the footplate
Sandra So Great to see you happy dear⚘♥️

You need a loop for in front of your legs to hold them on the foot plate.
