"Ashita, Watashi wa Dareka no Kanojo" is exactly what introduced me to jirai kei as well~ I loved Yua's fashion sense in the manga (a perfect balance between romantic/girly + dark/edgy) so I'm really glad I decided to look more into it! Both of you look lovely in jirai fashion
I really glad I clicked on this video. I didn’t know what jirai was. It’s so cute perfect mix of cute and edgy. Plus a good tv show recommendation. Thank you so much
You look so cute!! I never comment on your videos, but this time I wanted to say that the end result was amazing and your blonde hair goes really well with the black and pink tones 🥺
kawaii! i've heard about ashita wa dareka no kanojo drama but i havent watched but i def will watch it since my oshi is one of the cast(Maybe you already know her, saito nagisa! she's also larme regular model) the makeup is really cute! i start to have interest in this kind of makeup so it's really refreshing to see non-japanese tried the makeup~ will look forward to another content like this on your channel!
I've watched the intro 7x now and can't stop laughing my ass off at the cat takedown it's SO FUNNY LOL plus your unflinching reaction!! ok now to watch the rest of the video
You look so so beautiful in Jirai Kei! I loved your entire outfit, accessories, jewelry, your hair was soooo cute, and your makeup was still good! The only things I would've done differently is give you slightly lighter brown softer eyebrows closer to your hair color, so they'd look less harsh. Then, I would've had you smile when adding the light brown eyeshadow to accentuate your tear bags, because it easier to find where to place to contour makes a nice realistic looking shadows for more definition. Then, between the straight brown liquid eyeliner that is slightly below your natural lower lash line, and the black downturned puppy eyeliner, I would've put a lighter eyeshadow. Maybe a white, or champagne color in the empty space that is in the empty space between your eyeliner to make your eyes look even bigger. Then, I would draw on some lower lashes under the brown liquid eyeliner line. The gradient on the lips could've been slightly better, sometimes I use two different shades, first put on like a light pink or mauve color, and then in the center maybe either a deeper cool toned red,, or a purple rosy tone on the center of the lips- whatever shade go well together to create a smooth gradient.
Thank you angel! I love the critique! The eyebrows were might fault actually, it’s my eyebrow pencil and I accidentally bought one that’s super dark so that’s really on me. But I’m going to personally practice this makeup a little more using your critique 💕
I think it gets into bad territory when people try to police something like this when it’s sometimes an expression of pain or something you are going through it’s like a form of vent art, I often see people online saying to people to cover healed SH scars or they are glorifying it when in reality that is just how their body looks now which ofc is sad but it’s not fair to stigmatise it so much when healed it’s not something anyone can help or change and I’m sure the person themselves are incredibly aware of that. Who knows some of these people might even find solace in meeting other people like them through the fashion and feel less alone especially in a country where stuff like that is so hush hush. On a much lighter note you really suit the piercings!
Thank you for such a thoughtful response! Japan doesn’t talk that much about mental health, and when it does sometimes it’s in a very different way to how we in the west. Like it’s expressed a lot through art and fashion and I think we shouldn’t say those methods are wrong just because they’re provocative and taboo :(
I tried jirai kei make-up today and it was hell (I did it in a bus 8D putting on fake eyelashes and eyeliner was a nightmare) to do I'm not good at make-up (I don't use foundation or concealer)and my carnation was different from the people making the make-up tutorials and as i'm not pale it came different on me, idk anything about tone adjustement in make-up and how to adapt w my carnation rip, also I didn't use contact lenses because I cannot stand them and I think it may explain why my eyes didn't have a pleading look :( I customized/made the clothes the shoes and accessories though this I can do!
@@misscreativity9422 Please just look up 地雷 or 地雷女 on Instagram, I really don’t have to debunk anything I literally live here. Just look on social media for Japanese influencers that wear jirai it’s really not hard babes!
9:32 Not me.. Women in prostitution are over represented by people coming from poor backgrounds/abuse or having mental health issues.. Only a small percent gets to be in charge of how they work. Not to mention the immense effect on men's views on woman. I've heard how men talk about these women and the lack of respect they have.. I'm sure you're coming from a good place and you actually care about the prostitutes though, so this is in no way a dig! I'm pro the Nordic-model 🙏🏻✨ On a brighter note! I really enjoyed the video! ☺️👍🏻✨
I’m pro women doing what they want with their bodies, not sex trafficking which unfortunately is rampant in every single country 🥲 it’s an excellent conversation to have though, you’re right! Men talk about every kind of women poorly unfortunately 🥲
@@CapsuleBunny It really is an important conversation to have! Maybe a little extra important in Japan since the sex industry is so big there (and very normalized).. I agree with you that women should be able to do what they want. It's just that what we've seen is that trafficking and women coming from tough situations decrease when (sex buying) is illigalized. I think selling should remain legal tough in order to not punish the women/children however! 🙏🏻 (I really like you and your videos so I hope this doesn't come across as hate hehe💖)
Living in Japan with cute friends and amazing clothes is like my entire life goal tbh
You can do it!! Don’t give up 🥺💕
