This bleaching event is just the latest in a long line of bleaching events - these have been occurring for millions of years and the reefs do recover very quickly. The waters cool, new coral polyps move back into the previously abandoned calcium skeletons and the corals return to their healthy condition.
95% of the coral reefs in the Indian Ocean have NOT been destroyed.

this reef is given by God as gift to us and to show that how living creatures live together and help each other .
and it also helps to maintain the amount of co2 in water
but now it is in danger due to human greed nature.
so destroy our greed and protect our Corel
because it part of living earth and of food chain.

It's true that many coral reefs in the Indian Ocean have been affected by coral bleaching due to long periods of strong sunlight and warmer oceans - this causes the colorful algae (which use photosynthesis to provide food for the coral polyps) to abandon the corals. Soon the coral polyps will also flee the calcium carbonate structure due to lack of food, thus 'dead' corals.

I have always loved learning. When I was a child in school, earth science was my favorite subject and I always received an "A" in science. In 5th grade I won the spelling bee, up to the last round against TSU!!! I think I'll write a book!!! I think I will.
