Scott, at the start when you asked if those "planes were attached by a cable",. well, YES,. they were,.. one's a plane, the other's a wooden glider,.. they used this in the real D-day assaults. Additionally, the bullets you keep calling supersonic,. are SUBsonic,. they don't produce a shockwave as a SUPERsonic bullet would,. hence quieter and less damage.
My grandfather who served in ww2 was one of the first guys to storm Omaha he served in the 1st infantry division US army from 1941 to 1953 he's 101 now
Hey mate. I have been a fan of sniper elite for a long time and 5 have wowed me. It honestly is very nerving and sometimes frustrating. Thanks to your help it does make it easier. My biggest question is 1. be honest how many times have you actually been killed and restarted before you make your vids? Lucky me, I get stuck its youtube walk throughs. Good work
the beginning of this is fun. While I'm headed to the last ally, I swatch my rounds to Armor Piercing, then shoot the first truck as it is about to go over the little bridge, Wait a little bit, then shoot the gas cylinder tanks by the armored car just as the second troop truck is right beside it. Multiple kills from the get go. And the explosions it causes are fun to watch. LOL
The planes at the beginning are connected. During the allied invaison of Normandy in 1944 (so matches the games setting) to save costs, they would attached gliders to the back of a bomber and toe it from South Britain into France (so really not that far in reality), disconnect the toe line so troops can then glide it down with equipment and more soldiers. Very much a case of any landing can walk away from is a good one as the planes weren't designed to ever be recovered and re-used, just increase how many troops a single plane could fly. Other than beging alone and dropped in at the same time as the invasion this level is historically very well made. In real life for this task a group of SOE operatives, maybe even multiple networks, would of been aying low days if not weeks in advance waiting for a code message to play on Radio Londres (on D-day there was one message to a SOE cell sent approximately every 15minuets hidden in what would seem like a normal radio broadcast. So in reality by the time the invasion was underway and gliders were disconnecting, bombs raining bown from the bombers, the advance could begin without delay (instead of one SOE agent going ahead alone and taking down multiple key sites before can advancd. That would be suicide as the Germans would find your rallying location and rain havoc before even reach the town) and the key routes for the Germans to bring re-enforcements hampered if not entirely block by both communication lines and the road/rail being sabotaged by other SOE operatives. Its one of the most fascinating sides of history IMO is how the SOE operated and stratagy involved in the key battles.
One complaint---the airborne assault was conducted before daybreak. Gliders and C-47's were not buzzing about as the Higgins Boats made their runs onto the beaches.
So how's the enemies and vehicles ?? Because in your video's I can't tell how well it works and the writing is hard to see so can't see what ranks of enemies there are ?

I have to admit I like seeing someone go loud every now and then. Because otherwise it gets boring as EVERYONE tries to go quiet
Agreed

Love yr videos, I think u have to be the most polite gamer I’ve heard 😂😂😂
Most of the first section could've been completed for the hill where you took your first shot! It would have eliminated most of those alerts. lol
Subsonic bullets. They’re quieter as they don’t break the sound barrier.

Regarding the snipers, one of the objectives is to stealth kill all 3.

In the sniper elite 5 there's a armored vw thing called the kübelwagen
hello sir how can we change gun settings in ps4 while we are playing...
Amazing GaMe.
Why don’t you ever change your camera view? You can see so much farther around corners by swapping camera sides.
thanks for the great vlog.... keep going brother .. hope till the end.
I am already a kolonel.
where is the bridge? it is on the fucking river!
Dude, you're elite sniper. Why kill them like in the Splinter Cell??? Find a few good vantage points and just snipe them.
Isn't ur game really flickery from a distance? The anti aliasing in this game is atrocious for a 2022 game
