Sheila Hodgson wrote a series of radio plays based on the notes left by M.R. James for stories he had, as he put it, 'tried to write'. Never broadcast as a series per se they appeared occasionally over many years, finally culminating in The Boat Hook in the early 1990s, which I've already posted...

Not at all; obviously my enthuasism was a little dented, but even when I set the channel up I figured that it would eventually be taken down... I've been told that some listeners have been taking copies of the stuff I put up, which I'm very glad to hear - it's fundamentally an exercise in sharing, and a small amount of what I put up is only in my collection because somebody else shared it online in the past. Anyway, I've just found a number of plays that are probably fairly rare so I'll be posting those as soon as I can...

I suspect that would be asking for trouble just at the moment... In an ideal world it will certainly be available again but that's going to depend on what platforms I find suitable...

@@mysteriousmagpie well personally if it was me I wouldn’t give this person the satisfaction of changing to another platform if you find that TH-cam works for you, but this is only my opinion. It would be different though, if it was officially from the bbc. Why this person wants to ruin things for everybody else I’ll never know? They should be ashamed of themselves.
