Creating a subdomain is relative to the domain registrar you use. There is no one tutorial on how to create subdomains as domain hosting companies have different methods. You may need to contact your domain registrar in how to create a subdomain or let me know your registrar, perhaps I can point you in the right direction.
If I change my infinityfree name sever to Cloudflare , will my wordpress installation on ifinityfree work properly OR I must change the name server back to infinity free when I'm done with the ssl certificate on cloudflare ?
I tried doing everything you said and I used CNAME instead of A record to add subdomain. According to cloudflare the https should be working fine , but whenever I try to open my subdomain in the browser, it still shows as "not secure". Is it only matter of time I have to wait, or how to solve this?
If you're sure you did as I told you, then you have to wait. Try checking from a different browser and clear your browser cache too. If you've done all, then give it time. It should work within 24 hours.
I've been using this free SSL for free for many years for myself and my clients. It will be free until when Cloudflare decides to stop it, until then enjoy it.

It is not advisable to use Cloudflare with infinity, Infinityfree now has a free SSL, I have a video on that
