Funny the 2023 GT3's are priced where the Turbo S was maybe almost 10 years ago. :) NOt sure when Porsche raised the prices by almost $35k-70k CAD....the Turbo S is currently (June 2023) selling for $286k to start....used to be a $220k car.... GT3 used to start a $180k CAD...now $231k-301k (RS) Why the GT3? For the Nat Asp engine....i think for 911 purists and a different driving feel. Worth it? Over a TT Carrera S or 4s?? Just to get an "authentic 911"? I do think going to TT was blasphemous ....bad step for Porsche and Ferrari....oddly both companies kept at least 1 Nat Asp egnined car (Ferrari the 812 SuperFast)....switch to TT to follow the trrend...WHY? Lamborghini didn't do it nor Audi. Corvette has the NA Z06...also expensive now....costing as much as i think a Carrera S ...
Im a bit late, but Id say the twin turbo makes sense from a performance standpoint. If you want a fast car for the roads, you have either the carrera or the turbo available. And if you want a track weapon, you have the high revving NA gt3. Just different markets
