Ugh. It’s so CRINGE how they’re absolutely gobsmacked at just 1,000 cases! They either didn’t know what was coming, or are incredibly naive. Either way, it’s almost nauseating watching this.
What’s most “cringe” about it is the fact that a “case” isn’t even a useful public health metric in this context. A case is merely an instance in which a person tested positive for SARS-CoV; it doesn’t necessarily mean they have Covid, which is the actual DISEASE associated with SARS-CoV illness. This is especially important to understand considering more than 80% of those who do test positive for the virus report very mild symptoms or no symptoms at all. The obsession over “cases” was truly one of the most idiotic aspects of Covid mania.
Why is Big Brother shut down here in the UK but still being televised in other parts of the world. Please bring Big Brother back. We pay A TV Licence and I think we should have A say in the reality shows that we've all come to Love and look forward too.

They'll be like those soldiers who didn't realise WW2 was over and just stayed hiding for ages haha
big brothers voice is so cute!!
If only we have big brother in this time in my country (ph) housemates will be flipin we have 46,000+ confirmed cases already plus our president signing the anti terrorism bill law LMAO damn what a time to die
Hindi na rin siya mapapanuod sa TV kasi pinasara ang ABS hahahaha
just the idea of "the game is about being isolated" and then "bad thing might have happened, game is on pause still isolated for other reason"
I live in the United States and I remember the beginning of the virus touching America and I lost four dear friends to the coronavirus and it was heartbreaking to see all around the world how that virus first everyone
I would love to be able to watch all of BB AU 2020 I have been waiting for so long , I'm one of their biggest fan for years all of the BB world wide , so why am I having so much difficulty I reside in USA. someone please tell me or download.
there may be an Australia network streaming service you may subscribe to
Reminds me of joking that they'd close the border to Tasmania.
Unimaginable at the time.
It happened soon after.
Its surprising that they were shock by that confirmed cases of 30k worldwide that time and now 30k is minimum for new cases in USA or India.
I just can feel like were on this for an entire year. I just wanna go back to normal. Anyone else?
they reacted more when they said the game will be suspended than when they said the virus was spreading.. lol
A little over dramatic with the music I think.
Ugh. It’s so CRINGE how they’re absolutely gobsmacked at just 1,000 cases! They either didn’t know what was coming, or are incredibly naive. Either way, it’s almost nauseating watching this.
Why is it 'cringe'?
Certain countries have franchises that have tv contracts, the reason BBUK is shut down is because Channel 5 didn’t renew CBB and BB, there was a rumour that Big Brother UK would be revived on Channel 4’s sister channe E4 but Endemol UK denied it
@@Transitfan93 wish they hadn't I Love it.
Lisa Harmon yeah I liked the uniqueness of it... There was speculation of it returning after the BBUK twitter handle was reactivated
@@Transitfan93 ❤️
There are several seasons of bb in my 'saved playlists' if you haven't seen all the UK ones yet.
He should have said its over 9000!!!
'What have you got for us today, big bwoy"
"YES"
The dramatic music is OTT
Wait australia still had big brother wtf lol and why does this feel like a xcom breefing 😂also I had covid twice it was bloody horrible
this is so crazy to look back on…
God, I remember being in Chemistry class my junior year and the announcements coming on saying "We're gonna be off for 3 weeks because of this new virus plus your spring break. Over that time we're going to make a plan based on what happens in the world."
And we all cheered because we were so excited to get time out of school. And then suddenly it had been a year and my good-for-nothing senior year was coming to an end. 😐
You got to have a good portion of your senior year in the south part of the worl classes were just starting (in mi country kids were on there second week of class) so basically they got only 2 weeks of senior year
@@florencia741 oh god, that is absolutely horrible. My senior year they kept switching from in school to learning at home. I had barely graduated that year, graduating with low D's in a good portion of my classes. The switching on and off was just absolutely destroying my grades, not to mention my mental health.
The pandemic really did a number on all of us
Sad how I don't give a f that my area got at least 100k cases now and they're be like "omg 1000" 😭😭
I’m in Australia and we had 5 new cases a few weeks ago and went into lockdown for two weeks because it reached to 11 new cases.
They are so strict here. But at the same time it’s good that they are careful.
Should have let them stay, they were technically staying at home
Just like the show creating more drama and fear over lies
Holy crap. I didn't know they brought BBAU back, and this is how I find out?
1000 cases is the number of cases in my street 😂
years later and this just seems trival
1,000 cases?
how about 3 million
