Thank you for taking the time to watch! We have been trying to get it out there but it has since lost traction. There was a community development plan made back in 2010 that I have been trying to urge DPLH to follow up on and have been working closely with the community to try get the ball rolling but progress has been painfully slow. Also looked into funding from Minderoo foundation but they are not accepting any unsolicited applications at the moment. If you know of any organisations that may be willing to help please let me know, I have a whole pitch and outline ready to go on behalf of the Kandiwal community
Good old Gibb River Road did that trip many times years ago with my mum visiting family throughout the Kimberley as her dad was from Beagle Bay and her mum was from Warmun or Turkey Creek
We are going to try our best to make it happen! We are taking it to private foundations as the state government has clearly abdicated its responsibilities to these people
