The hosts that left ragged on Brad for being a "dumb guy". That always sounded snobby to me. Brad is real, he's humble, and always willing to learn. He does attempt to steal the show by talking so much, but since it's based off of his inquisitive nature it's clearly not intentional. And at the end of the day, Brad brings in the views. Even after the backlash. I still watch the same chefs, just some of them are on a different channel.

Absolutely. I turned up the volume because I couldn't hear them and then actually hurt my ears when the intro music blasted me away. Whoever did this needs to not be allowed to touch another video until they learn how to adjust levels properly.

You know what I find funny, it's the same editors that worked on the previous version of bon appetit, that are on this relaunch. And yet no one ever complained about the sound. Not once!
This is nostalgic for me, my great uncle owned a sugarwood with the metal buckets and all of that. We would go there in the spring to help him collect them all. Whole family would show and all the cousins would ride on the tractor and trailer and pick up the buckets to dump into this big trailer vat that he would bring around to the barn where he had his boilers set up. Huge maple shack meal for everyone made by his wife. Awesome times.
In the early season, it's a Canadian tradition to take a ladleful of just boiled syrup, throwing it in some clean snow and using a stick to roll the hardening syrup before eating

Glad im not the only one, i turned my volume right up because brad was so quiet and just about got deafened by the intro. Its really not that hard to balance audio, most programs can even do it automatically, really no excuse for that.
Traditional family sugar shacks have given me some of my best memorie. it's so amazing you get to spend time with friends. Enjoy the maple sap at every stage and spend time outside.
