My mom died in 2007 from breast cancer. She was 47. This was one of her favorite songs. Not ashamed to say I teared up.
It reminds me of my son that died in 92 in November and it just makes me think of him.
No need to be ashamed - your mum would no doubt have loved this - sorry for your loss.

Sorry to hear your loss. Did she actually die of breast cancer though? Cancer kills by growing a tumor which impedes another organs function. As the breast is outside the rib cage I doubt very much your Mom died from breast cancer. They tell you it's the cause of death but it's highly unlikely unless it spread to another organ.
@@richardjones2811 breast cancer was my simple answer. The long answer is she developed breast cancer ten years prior, and it came back in multiple other places in 2007 and it was so aggressive no testaments were effective.
Although my wife of 35 years was not much of
a roker, this was one of the few Rock songs she appeciated. She has passed away but everytime I see/hear this version by Sophie, it brings a tear, and many happy
memories, to my mind. Thank you Sophie.

This song marked an era for Latin America. In November 29 of 1992 in Bogotá Colombia, Guns gave the world tour concert and while they performed november rain a torrential rain falls on the stadium, it was impressive to see how the rain bathed slash while he continued playing the guitar connected with the monumental collective feeling. Sophie, your masterful performance transports me to that beautiful time and is a symbolic tribute to this great band and to all of us true rockers. On behalf of the rock family, thank you very much.

Never be ashamed of that Nick. That is something to tear up over. I lost my dad to cancer and still tear up over it when certain songs are played. He left in 2004

Really melodic and soulful. You don't have to be the fastest or technically crazy. She plays really precisely but plays really emotively. Wonderful choices. Maybe this is "shred," but, no matter what it is, she plays emotive solos that engage.

To me it is really good technical work better than I can play but I didn't feel the emotion. To each their own and yeah still well played. Emotion cannot be practiced it comes with time and experience.

I was born in November. I'm gettingaryed. It sets the tone of our wedding in it is Slashed greatness. Truly. Total geniouse scrip. Takes away to the thoughts of how rain in November is tough and reviles how love feels soaking wet and a chill in the notes . From begining to end.
