People should also understand that just because you have kids doesn't guarantee that those kids will take care of you when you're older. You might also end up having a disabled child that you end up having to care for your whole life. The risk and expense of having a kid just isn't worth it.

Not only disabled children. How many old parents are out there with grown children, and no one wants to even take them for a simple dinner regardless of how well/bad these parents raised them. Parents should have children if they want them and can afford them without the expectation they will get something in return.

decided from a young age that I never wanted kids, despite older family members saying i would eventually change my mind, im in my mid 30s now and still kid free. It would be wrong of me to bring a kid into this world when I know from an early age that I would not be able to give it all that it needs while still feeling like i can live my life. having kids is a personal choice NOT a moral imperative.

well in the grand scheme of things kids grow fast. so waiting isnt a big deal BUT that said, once you have kids consider your relationship to have dropped an anchor slowing you down and dragging you to a halt, because having kids means obtaining stability as they grow and inevitably take on things like schooling. and that means your extended plans are now tied to their needs. and you got at least about 25 years of that. Lastly is the bond between the two. are you truly in it for the longhaul cause if your not then having kids will only mess up their lives as they grow up in a broken marital situation. And lets face it. most people couldnt live with a clone of themselves let alone someone they claim to love. because the biggest error in all relationships is not understanding what love is. Its commitment not a feeling. feelings come and go. so if your relationship is based on feeling then far and few have gone the duration based on feelings alone. Love is duty and obligation and sacrifice. soooo if you dont have those factors in your relationship then, dont.. just dont ruin the life of kids that youd bring into the world.
