I personally think you SHOULD add the refresh to the one brand wash day routine! I bought Assuies and it was terrible. So it's nice seeing the different options.
Yes, refresh please! I also want to thank you for teaching me how to take care of my waves and curls. I had not realized that my frizzy hair was actually wavy/curly. I was inspired by how healthy your hair looks. I am still in transition, but I see some progress in my hair. Thanks again!
The refreshing attempts are definitely helpful! I think for a refreshing spray it's almost easier to spray a few spritz into the hands and smooth over frizz areas. That way it's harder to over apply product if someone finds they tend to overdo it.
I've only tried the refreshing spray and it was actually worse than using just water (because it made my hair frizzy with no hold or definition whatsoever). But hey, I've got very thick, coarse, 2b/c wavy hair, so many light products don't work on me. No worries, I'll try it on my son's fine 3a curls, which are very easy to style. Usually water and Verb's airdry cream will do it. Nope, the Jessicurl refresher spray did not work on his hair either. Within an hour it was frizzy and flyaway, with very little definition. I'm giving up on that spray and I'd suggest you buy the travel version if you're trying it out.
Oh wow. Love how your hair did with this product. I just started my journey with wavy hair (I use to have board straight hair). The first product line I started with a couple of weeks ago was TreLuxe. I think the next line I want to try is this one. I especially love how the refresh turned out.
This is one of the few brands I can use that won't trigger allergic bronchitis for me, so clearly it's at the top of my my favorite brands list. I love love love Jessicurl. I like the unscented or citrus scent. The other Island Fantasy scent appears to be artificial, which I try to stay away from. Really great products, though.
I love the Jessicurl Spiralicious gel. Like your experience, my hair looks even better on day two. I’ve never used the refresh spray but after this video I am more inclined to try it!
Love, love Jessicurl. So good and such a good value. Jessicurl + occasional Curl Junkie Repair Me = chef’s kiss and 4 day hair. And please continue with the refresh demos. So useful. Thank you for all you do.
Spiralicious emulsified with wet hands is my go to refresh product. It’s the right amount of moisture and hold. It’s also the only Jessicurl styler I can use. all the others have Aloe and dry out my hair instantly.
This is my favorite one brand wash day and refresh yet!! I've never tried this brand but I certainly will now! I have very curly waves that end in spirals. Unfortunately my roots and mid lengths tend to loosen up a bit meaning I almost always have to refresh, so I absolutely appreciate a refresh attempt. Thank you for doing these one brand reviews!
I like the refresh addition! And love the one brand wash days in general- especially because you talk about scents since I am also scent-sensitive. I hate wasting money on a product that I have to throw away because I can’t stand the smell!
I also am very sensitive to artificial fragrances and can't tolerate 95% of hair products, but I took a gamble on the Jessicurl deep conditioner with the citrus lavender scent. It doesn't bother me at all - it seems to be a natural fragrance or made of essential oils. I've used that deep conditioner for years and love it. Give one of their little sample bottles with citrus lavender scent a try - you might like it too.
The spiralicious gel is a holy grail of mine and I also love the refreshing spray (all other refreshing sprays I have tried I've hated coz they either don't work or make my hair sticky). Also love the too shea conditioner, but not tried the deep conditioner yet....
I would love to see a refresh only comparison! I'm just starting my curly hair journey (like, SUPER embracing it) and I feel like we have the same hair, so I love watching your videos and learning. Keep up the great videos! Thank you for all you do!!!
I love the way the refresh spray worked in your hair. I’m looking for a light refresh spray. I’m just concerned about the glycerine. Some formulas work that contain glycerin but most don’t. Yes, more refresh info!!
Jessicurl products are lovely. I use her cleansing cream, deep conditioner, Too Shea conditioner all the time. Too Shea may work better for you, lighter weight, till moisturizing, a great leave-in. I have but haven't tried Rockin' Ringlets. I use Spiralicious as a refesh with a little water. My favorite is Curl Keeper Original.
I know Im late to the game! Lol. But I have learned so much from your videos. Thank you!! Love how you added the refresh spray! Thats the hardest part for me is I lose my curl by the next day and would love to see how the refreshes work. Keep up the great work!
LOVING your one brand wash day + refresh! Only tried a sea salt spray one time and hated it, my hair felt soo gritty and dirty, I opted to just wash it!! You're a GEM 💎 in this World THANK YOU!! ❤
I thought your hair looked really good right after you took it out of the pineapple. I probably would have just left it if it were my hair but I liked your refresh too. I agree with the other comment that you should add refreshes into the one brand wash days, I like seeing how well products refresh. Have you tried OUIDAD Advanced Climate Control Heat & Humidity Gel? I recently tried it and found that my hair LOVES it. I'm finally able to get a good second day out of my hair, all I do to "refresh" is mist my hair with water to reactivate the gel and then I gently diffuse it. I don't full on pixie diffuse, just place the ends of my hair in the diffuser bowl and push it upwards a bit. It brings out the waves without disrupting the natural pattern. Just a minute or two is all it takes for the gel cast to reform and then I let it air dry and scrunch out the crunch later.
What has been your favorite so far? Like if you were going on vacation tomorrow, which brand would you take with you? I’m all about the simplicity, especially when it comes to packing 🙂
There are a few brands that carry both a custard and a gel, so you can use both and still keep within one brand. I like to pair the Cantu Define & Shine Custard with the Cantu Stay Glue Gel. Also, you can combine the Shea Moisture Coconut Custard Defining Gel Oil with the Shea Moisture Souffle. And lastly, I just noticed at Sally Beauty that Mielle has come out with a new gel in their Pomegranate and Honey line (or maybe it's just new to me). So you can combine the Mielle Coil Sculpting Custard with the Mielle Maximum Hold Gel Styler. I haven't tried this last one yet but I'll bet it's great.
I tried to do the curly girl hair routine but although my hair was defined, it also came out hard instead of soft. I couldn’t get my fingers through it and it was all hard and sticky in a way. I did use mousse, is that why?
Hmmm not sure...When you mix brands sometimes the products don't play well together. If it was more of a crunch you would then try scrunching it out. I would try them without the mousse and see what happens!
With love from one white girl to another, perhaps consider wearing a more colorful shirt if you're going to film in this location. Everything in the background is white, you're white and your shirt color washes you out. In the robe curl video too at the beginning. Just a heads up sis. White or even light gray on a non tanned white girl washes us out. Love you and your content.

I would love for you to make a video about the first 5 products you would have to buy if your curly hair stash was suddenly all gone.

Woah...that's *really* good 2nd day hair! 👏🏻 It was good before the refresh spray but man...the spray bumped it up quite a bit! Nicely done! 💜

I haven't used jessicurl in a while, but you reminded me that I really loved it!
I was so excited to see another Jessiecurl OBWD!!!
Spiralicious emulsified with wet hands is my go to refresh product. It’s the right amount of moisture and hold. It’s also the only Jessicurl styler I can use. all the others have Aloe and dry out my hair instantly.
I use Jessi Curl and I love it. It is the best!
Love these One Brand Wash days!! Your sweet attitude makes it even better though 😀

Please keep doing the refresh. My wages disappear without a refresh so I find it to be very valuable information.
Your hair looks beautiful!😍 I love Jessicurl Spiralicious gel! It has great hold and longevity!😊

Love the refresh added at the end 😊
Jessicurl daily shampoo is my go to!! So moisturizing but still lightweight!
Ok, I’m trying this line, thanks!
Would love to see you use Curlsmith. Their curl souffle is magic.
I love this gel & don’t know why I haven’t tried their other products. The refresh spray looks great!!!

My fine, wavy hair absolutely loves Jessicurl products. ❤
Yes! Love the refresh hair videos as well as the one brand wash days! Thank you!!

This was great! I like seeing the refresh products!
Looks great Courtney! I use their spiralicious gel but the fragrance free one.
i like these products because they have no fragrance line , and the products do really well on my wavy hair 2A with a little 2B. Good video
I love Jessicurl products! GL cleanser, Too Shea or DC, AG Recoil, then Spirialious. 💕 I need to use Awe Inspiring Spray next.

2 great refreshes in a row?!?! Nice!
This worked REALLY well for you!! 🤩
I like your attempts with the refreshing sprays. I find it super informative and helpful.
Love the results with these products. 👍🥰

Mop Top also has a custard and a gel.
Have you heard of reverse washing? Condition first then shampoo hair.... it worked pretty well! Thank you for your info.
Love one brand wash days! I think Jessie Curl worked really well for you ❤
Yes, your day 2 hair looks better than the end of day 1. Can you do a one brand wash day with products that don't contain aloe in any of them?
Yes please keep refreshing!!
I would of liked to see you refresh just with a mist of water to see if it looked as good as refresh spray.
Second day looks so good!
Thank you!
I have been loving the refresh options! Love your videos!❤
Awesome video thanks so much. Gonna have to see if it has protein and try it out. Thx
It definitely look better the next day!👍
Thank you!
As i know it is not to advice to put conditioner on the whole hair and roots.
You get a cast with that gel if you put it on damp hair.
Have you tried the Miribel Naturals volumizing foam?
What hair oil do you use??
I would end up using that much for my bum length hair
I love your videos! ❤
Why a deep conditioner instead of a regular conditioner?
I think it's because she's skipping leave in.
I would still prefer to see a standard conditioner! I typically skip leave in when I’m just using one product anyway.
If you have been watching her more recent videos it's a new technique she's trying.
@@heymssmithers I have! It’s just my feedback based on what I feel would be helpful 🥰
@@kendrastevenson5423 the Jessicurl deep treatment is also a great ‘regular conditioner’

@@SwavyCurlyCourtney I tried without the mousse! And it came out much softer but a little frizzier 😅 better though, it was an improvement!
Great video
What pre-poo do you use?
I love your personality and watching your weirdness play out in the video :)
Hmm not sure I’ve ever seen this brand, where do they sell it?
It only sold online. They have a website but it is also sold on Amazon. It a decently affordable product line.
@@SwavyCurlyCourtney 👍
Amazon sells it too
I was thinking that it looked better on day 2 too lol
Jessicurl is one of the only brands that's worth the money.
I would rather see these with a regular conditioner...more of an every day routine.

Anyone else wish she would keep still long enough for us to SEE the hair after saying "let me show you the results!" ??? 😭😭😭
I love the way Jessicurl products feel when I’m using them, and how my hair feels afterward. But, I can’t get longevity with these products.
These product do make the hair really really soft. Thank hat doesn’t tend to go hand in hand with washday longevity for me.
Jessicurl products are my favorite. I top it off with a mousse, it helps with hold…..for me. Good luck!
