I traded in my 2006 Mustang for a 2014 Jetta SE when the Mustang (at 160,000 miles) was needing a lot of repairs to stay compliant with Maryland policies. The Jetta is great, with the 1.8T engine (at around 170 horsepower) giving a reasonable amount of power compared to the 210 horsepower from the 4.0 litre naturally-aspirated engine from the Mustang. I loved the last car and I love this car too, but in the end, I recommend the Jetta because it's almost as quick as the last car, it makes around 36mpg on the highway, and the trunk is big enough to move a lot of stuff in.

Got my '14 SE w/no sunroof with same interior for 19K and change brand new. Awesome car for the money to say the least. Great engine and 6sp auto transmission. Silky smooth and powerful. Seats rock in comfort and they're heated. Handles great, rides great. Good on gas. No bullshit backup camera (I have a neck) or lane warning crap I'd never want to pay for. No regrets.

Yea bro, great video. You hit all the points I was wondering about. I like the different views you show of the car. Best video I've watched yet. Thanks

I love mine. Have had it for three years now with zero issues. If the monotonous interior is a deterrent, I have the cornsilk beige interior which makes the dash and sides two-toned.

I don't understand how you think this is not a wow looking car when it really is super sexy and sporty looking.

@@kamalkannan6188 I had a small problem with the turbo that was fixed no charge. We are very happy with the car. I really like the way a German car handles.

What is Volkswagen doing to correct ongoing electrical problems? GM and Japanese ---cars of today--- really do not have random issues like German vehicles.
