- In this video, I've explained in detail how one of our clients was alleged to have evaded GST of more than 5 Crores and thus, arrested by the GST Department Officials.
I've explained the case in detail without divulging any of the confidential details so as to be explain the case to my students so that they get an idea of how whatever they study in classes happens practically.

After watching this video, you might feel that the businessman could've escaped detection by department if he took fake input SERVICES instead of GOODS or if he did evasion of a smaller amount.

Govt spends so many resources in capturing ordinary man and businessman. But nothing for IAS officers, politicians etc who eat 100 crores+ without taking a burp

Usko pakdo, meko mat pakdo. Vo karta hai, mai ni karta. In sab ka koi mtlb nahi hai. Ek real world situation mai kaam hona is more important that kuch na hona. Pakde sab jaenge ek na ek din pr aabhi chor chor milkar dusre chor ko pakad rahe hai toh vo sirif yeh dikhaya jaraha hai ki system work kar raha hai. Agar insan khudse sab cheez ki imandari se zimmedari lega tab cheeze sudhregi. Pr teko bhi pata hai ki na tu sahi hai or na system or na he koi sudharne ko ready hai or na comply karne ko toh tere is conversation ka mtlb kuch hai he nahi.

I am in Internal Audit team and can say that nothing is untraceable in law until and unless you find a loophole in it itself for the time being.
The most difficult part I find during the audit of manufacturing entities is the variable scrap percentage occuring in manufacturing. Govt should also regulate the scrap produced by introducing the industry practice for all with varying machine technology. I know, it's very difficult. But, the moment you do this scams will automatically vanish.
How you became internal audit
Govt should also do something to regulate the human scrap produced as a result of its inefficiency (it makes to the top of the list) and the money converted to scrap after proudly taking the share of taxes...
If one has to commit thievery, one has to have a way to do that and when you have deliberately left a loophole, someone someday might find it and depending on the situation, upbringing and integrity will use, misuse or close it.
Only instilling faith in the people will also increase the no of peoole happily paying taxes, however someone is looking for blindfaith, indulgence, misguidance, ignorance and greed.
If it were to be calculated the Return of investment and self-improvement, their own quality of Living will See an exponential Increase.
One should also note that despite everything else ours is still one of the best governments if you compare it with .. other..
Keep finding better ways to better ourselves, good luck.

Now CBDT ,CBIC is coming up with new tax evasion detection techniques so it's like very much less chances if you've done a Big GST fraud and they wouldn't detect that. The same goes for Income Tax. I hope everyone pays their taxes to run the Indian economy smoothly and avoid paying huge penalties and imprisonment.

You can never remove tax evasion however much you try. There will always be people who would greedy enough to game the systems. The most Govt can do is make punishment for evasion very expensive so that most businesses don't try to evade tax as once you get caught, your whole capital may get wiped away. That is why GST has some very stringent sections to deter tax evasion.

When I ws in CA articleship, I have seen more than 10 businesses dg this type of tax evasion!! To my surprise, this idea haven't thought by any CA! Client himself gave the idea ; tht hw we cn evade the taxes. Anywys, those wr small amounts of invoices not like what ws in this video's case!! Proud to know that I ws part of experiencing practically during my CA articleship!! Cz these will help in exm case studies! But, wanna know this case study's final climax, as you have been taken up as defending side! How are you defending & in what factor & section of GST are you giving a counter strike?

Thanks sir for this video was referring rule 54 of cgst rules that supplier can issue any other document other than invoice and in that for gta some mandatory info were given and cause of this video i understood why govt requires gta to mention reg no of vehicle ,gross weight of consignment and so on...

Very nice video. One of my relative currently done such thing we assume and eloped and now innocent member of our family in trouble as being director in good faith without knowing he was doing actually in the company formed by culprit. Now police is behind him and unnecessary torture on innocent who even can't pay 10% of that evasion. Case is above 25 crore. That fool in his greed or over smartness ruined own wife life, own daughter life and innocent person family life. Let see we are in tension as middle class can't afford such legal cases.
