Nice drum. I've always found that a brass shell with die-cast hoops are two tasty ingredients for a good sounding snare. I already know it's going to sound good. I don't care what the brand is. Brass is brass.
Yes those are 14" 30 strand Puresound wires. They may be a little shorter than 20 strands to make space for the width but they are for a 14" snare. Check them out here... www.lessonsquad.com/items/908159983
this is a rolled brass snare with a seam. I think it has been discontinued but it's a great snare drum. Like I said in the video, it was Barry Kerch's main snare for a few years.

This brass shell gives a nice big open tone and the die-cast hoops add a big attack.
I am a big fan of brass snares.
Are those pure sounds for a 14” they look short or is that how they are I don’t know pure sounds
