Sylva has been a "Tree City USA in North Carolina," for the last 15 years. Sylva is a Mountain Heritage Trout City as well. Sylva is home to Pinnacle Park, a 1,100-acre property owned by the Town of Sylva that has beautiful waterfalls, streams, trails, and vistas from 5,008-foot elevation pinnacle.

Another fantastic, enjoyable video! I really admire how you always do a detailed tour of a town. It allows someone to already know what's there and where it is, should they decide to visit.
As for the historic courthouse building at the top of those cardiac arrest steps, it is no longer used as a courthouse but instead is now exclusively used as the county's main branch of the public library. The courthouse was relocated to a new building several years ago.

That is not the county courthouse on the hill. It is now the library.
Lazy Hiker Brewing has excellent brews ,with food by the Mad Batter, especially their pizza. Balsam Falls Brewing also had very good brews and quality modern pub type food. Just a shout out to my hangouts! Nice video. I moved up here in 2010 and love it, but it's starting to get a bit crowded. Tourism makes the world go round in Jackson County

A lot of closed places. I was wondering if you were there on a Monday? We are going there in a couple of weeks and I was reading so many places closed on Monday.
Some towns do have business closed on Sunday and Monday.
