Thank you Dad Brian for doing the interview and sharing it.Congrats to the champ Auctioneer.Cole that you for sharing everything.God bless you all.
Amen to Sonne Farm showing agriculture in a positive light. They continue to educate us on the intricacies of livestock and land management.❤
Local hero’s for the cattle industry team (auctioneer and producer)! Thanks for sharing, fun interview.
Unsung heroes in our farmer communities.
Congratulations Wade, and thank you Brian for high lighting all the hard work and efforts by the whole industry.
It is a honor To watch real homegrown Americans heroes. You guys make America the best place to live in.
The best part is when Wade said he was from Michigan! We only send our best. 😉
Brian, wonderful video. You never know what you will learn from Brian. Be safe and keep on working with the pride you have.
How did you get these Sonne Farm and John Deere emojis? They are awesome

Excellent job, Brian.
Who knew !
I had no clue there was a competition , but I've always admired the skill of good auctioneers.
When you have top quality cattle and are proud of what you are doing. It’s not a one man show. Every one has a place. Everyone is important
Great video. People appreciating one another for the jobs they do. All to provide for the country and to provide for their families. Great job for the spotlight. Love this channel. 🐄
Producers, cattle haulers and auctioneers and all you guys who coordinate it all, butchers and packers, thank you all in the cattle industry for feeding all of us! We don’t survive without you folks. From Oklahoma, THANK YOU!
Storla Station
That’s awesome that he’s from Michigan !!! That’s my home and born and raised here in Michigan. Great video! Thanks for sharing.
Great interview and huge congrats to the new World Champ from Mitchell, SD. Livestock auctioneers are far and away the best of the best to begin with so there is no doubt he is the best in the world right now!
Awesome Brian, showing off the roots of the of Agriculture. And a World Champ!! 🎉 Great content
Thank you Sonne farms!!
Such a great culture wrapped around the cattle industry - good honest people making great things happen to feed the rest of us! Thanks for sharing Brian - congratulations Wade!!
This was a great interview. I am a dairy guy. I have a lot to learn about beef. I learn something every video. Congratulations!!
Thanks for highlighting a auctioneer. They are a key component of the livestock industry, where they bring buyers and sellers together. Congratulations.
That was a terrific interview, thanks for sharing this insightful glimpse behind the scenes. Your commitment to life ling learning and continuing our education is much appreciated. Wishing you and your family a blessed week. Peace
Great interview. Auctioning is still a great way to sell cattle. Thanks for sharing 😊😊
This is why I love this channel… always something to see that others don’t show! Love seeing behind to scenes of the industry! 👏👏👏
I've always loved hearing a good auctioneer. I got my first taste of it going to the stockyards in Ft.worth with my granddad and dad.
Congrats to the young man ,i realy enjoyed going to an auction when i visit the USA although i am a dairyfarmer and dont no that much about beefcattle, hope you guys gave him the stroopwafel treat, thanks and greetings from a Dutch dairyfarmer
Congrats to Wade. It seems to me that the key to his success is that he deals in quality product (Sonne Farms and others)
. While he wants the highest price for the seller, the auction’s Sale gavel should mean he also ethically represented the product and the Buyer also wins.
I give credit to all involved in the auction process. I for one cannot understand a dang thing what the auctioneer is saying. But, for some reason I enjoy listening to them.
What a great piece! Congratulations.
Enjoyed the interview, learned a lot. Thank you, Brian!
Excellent area context! Thanks Brian. Famous Mitchell, South Dakota.
GREAT video guys. Thank you
I love watching your videos, it brings back many memories (some pleasant, some not, lol) of me helping my Dad sort cattle, and haul cattle to the very Oklahoma City Livestock Auction that was mentioned in this video. We lived on a farm in western Oklahoma, and I remember getting up waaaay early many times to take a load of cattle to OKC with my Dad. I loved walking the cat walks and looking down at the cattle & horses, and going into the main building to "settle up." I loved watching the auction and the workers, trying to understand the auctioneers 😏 And sometimes we'd get to eat lunch at the sale. So, thanks for interviewing this young man. We didn't have nearly the operation you guys have. Many times I wish my Dad was still alive and could watch your videos. He would have really enjoyed watching you work the cattle, calving, etc. So maybe I'm living through his memory as I watch your videos. Thank you for the memories!!!
Very nice!! Congratulations Wade!! Quite the achievement!
Had me thinking back to a John Michael Montgomery song called "Sold"!
Great behind the scenes video, I remember going with my dad to the auction barn in Princeton Mn in the 60’s.
Love listening to those guys call. It is an amazing talent
Awesome when people love what they are doing and they do it so well! Congratulations!
For a minute with all the shuffling in the background that the interview was happening in the ring. Most people I know have never been or seen a cattle auction. Your helping people realize the farmers and ranchers don’t get paid every week or month. It’s a great insight into your world that’s apart of everyone else’s.
EXCELLENT interview and a true appreciation for a well run outfit,
Great interview!!!!!!!! Thanks for sharing this ❤❤❤❤❤
I have the privilege to market my cattle through wades familys sale barn here in northern mi. Always get excited to see Wade in the house for our feeder sales. He does an excellent job, shout out to Frank Jan and Ed too for the job you do for us producers and Tom and the gang that work behind the scenes. Couldn’t have happen to a better man we were rooting for you wade, congrats hope to see you back home safe travels. Brain and cole keep up the good content, look forward to it.
Well, this is cool!
Congratulations Wade! Great job Brian
Great job Brian congrats to the champion
Great job Brian. I really enjoyed the talk!!!!
Congratulations!
So, now that he is the world champion auctioneer, and this is a honest question; does his pay go up, or how ever it works there?
Wow ... cool truck! Great interview and info. Thanks Brian!
Great episode, I had no idea how in-depth things can get!
It's awesome you guys recognize the people working behind the scenes. I have worked with wades brother Ed here in Michigan
Thanks Brian for the compliment, Very much appreciated. Thanks for your business and friendship. Craig
Youre welcome. You take your job seriously. A true professional.
Another great show. Thanks Brian
Very cool. Thank you Brian for that info.
Great interview Brian and congratulations 🎊🍾🎉🎈
Great video and interview….went to a livestock auction when I was around 13 in small Texas town. Was a circular shaped all wooden arena. We off loaded a small trailer (maybe 10 to 12 calves)…old fella I rode with told me to sit on hands, shut up and watch - was a great day but didn’t understand a word.
Great video again, Wade's brother auctions our cattle here in Michigan, he is also top notch, these gentlemen know what they're doing
We really enjoyed the interview , Brian. I always am amazed at how fast they call. We are very lucky to have Cole & you creating these videos for us and showing one of the reasons why America is as great as it is.❤

Hi Brian, hi Cole, nice to u's again.
This was very interesting to me. I never realized how much work and different techniques go into being an auctioneer. Great video.

Thanks for the interview Brian with the winner of the auctioneer contest.
Congratulations to him, wonderful he is from the Mitchell sale barn where you sell your cattle.
Was an interesting interview about the sale barn and the cattle industry and what happens at the sale barn.
Thanks again Brian for doing the interview. Really enjoyed it. Appreciate your time.
The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
Great interview. I admire a good auctioneer! Congratulations to your guy.
There seems to be a great deal of talent in a number of fields, (no pun intended) located in South Dakota. Something in the water? Of course Brian, it's easy to sell when you have premium cattle such as you and Cole are bringing to the market.
South Dakota represents!!!Congratulations on the World auctioneer record and recognition of the team effort. Great interview Brian.
That was pretty cool to watch

Congrats to the champ.
Fantastic interview. Brian, yes you are very witty; but I am sure Cole can hold his own, having learned under your tutelage.

Correct, but I saw an opportunity to say it without rebuttal and i took it!
It’s a rarity these days to have a sale barn that has been in operation continually and same people for years. Brian, if you ever get the chance to go to the stockyards in OKC do it. It’s the biggest sale in the country. They average 10k head a week. And during the fall and spring runs it’s nothing to have a sale last for more than 24hrs. Elreno OK is the second biggest. Okeechobee FL is another neat sale barn. Or as they call it Market.
Awesomeness ❤🎉😊
Great interview!!
Good stuff. Congrats to a couple of champs.
My grandfather was the leading auctioneer in the southwest from the 40’s-70’s. Mostly sold dairy cattle, would take a big tent and set up an auction ring on property of seller.
This was really good. Thanks Brian.
Am from Michigan up in the thumb of Huron county city of Bad Axe Michigan love watching videos
Good interview. Probably didn’t take much editing. Congratulations to the champ!
