I took apart my gun like so but when I put the slide release/ pin back in it wont stay in the gun it falls right out and doesn't lock the gun back together please I need help.
@@zerkxea I dont know please help I put them in how I thought they went in which was lil pin then the spring then the long pen the thumb safety works but not the lock pin.
Such a dumb question but I bought my hi cappa used and modified and it didn’t have a inner barrel is that a big deal? Cuz I play fine with out it but was wandering if there would be a big diffrence if I put one in
zerkxea haha um no not really I do notice tho they fly upwards kinda at a certain distance and the hi cappa is a AW Custom HX2301 that is short stroked, changed out the inner barrel and just recently put in a 120 spring and hammer spring to lesson the kick back ....and hmm I guess I should go buy an inner barrel then ....thanks for the info man and the fast reply
so wait i am confused if you have to take your slide apart how did my outer barrel fly out of my gun because i have a jw3 and it blew up the barrel flew out it sheared the iron site broke the hope up and riped the bolts off and idk how it happend
It was tough for me as well when I first took it apart. It's been a while since I sold mine so I can offer suggestions for you to try. One, this was in another video I saw, he legit just pulled the hopup & inner barrel out and then removed the yellow button, spring, and o-ring after. Two, apply prssure on the buuton and while you pull hte outer barrel off, twist it so that it clears off of the hop-up unit.
@@zerkxea this actually did help thank you. Also my bucking that I bought was too big and the hop up unit didn’t close completely when I screwed it in. Do you remember what your bucking was that you bought?
@@RyzeVibez5 I originally bought the UAC bucking, but it caused my gun to shoot over FPS limits so I went back to stock. Yes, you can remove the blowback housing. Pretty sure it’s somewhere in the video.
I have a gold match as well and I want a new outer barrel so I can put on a tracer unit can I still use the inner barrel that comes with the stock gun? Also what is a good outer barrel for this gun that is threaded?
Yes, you can still use the stock inner barrel. You would have to remove the o-ring and spring mechanism. I've been out of the airsoft scene for a while so not sure what all is out there now in regards to upgrade parts. I would recommend Airsoft Masterpiece though, that was the go to when I was building. They have a ton of upgrade options for TM Hi-capas. Be sure to get a non-compensator outer barrel. I ordered all of my parts from Alpha Airsoft but they are based in China so not sure about shipping restrictions.
Thank you for the tip! I have a tm gold match as well and i want to change the barrel to a metal threaded version, but i can't seem to find one that has the specific fit for the gold match? Or would it be better to change the intire hopup? And if so where could i buy it?
I assume you are wanting to replace the outer barrel with one that has a threaded tip for a tracer/comp? Look at airsoft masterpiece. evike has some or try alpha airsoft which is where I got all of my stuff. The outer barrel you see in the video worked perfectly in my gold match before I upgraded to the new slide and hop-up.
I also got wrong hop up unit. Did you had any issue with that guide rod cause I heard that it needs to be loctited? It wont flew of the gun or something like that? @zerxea
The button that you have to press to remove the inner keeps getting stuck when i move it. I push it until i can’t see it anymore, but the hop up unit and inner will not come out. Any fixes?
Missiing You’re just gonna have to keep pushing the button down while you pull the hop-up unit and inner barrel out. It was super tough my first time taking it apart. Even in the video I had to push the button down twice.
zerkxea I’ve managed to push it and move it until i cant see it anymore, but the hop up wont come out, its so far in now that its impossible to push any farther. Would it be wise just to saw off the inner and outer barrels and just replace them? Or should I just keep poking at it?
@@zerkxea how do you take the orange tip off im kinda scared of fucking up and breaking it also its weird because the barrel moves when it functions so it wiggles a bit any advice?

If you were to put in an inner barrel it’ll increase, accuracy, range, and FPS.

I’m so frustrated with the gold matches button that you push on to release the inner from outer. I can’t get it to budge at all. I don’t get it

n00b soft Honestly, besides hiding a longer inner barrel and extending the overall length of the gun; it does nothing. Really just for looks tbh.
