I don't like the title of this video. Rupert is doing what he likes, he acts here and there but clearly he doesn't like fame. The title is supposing drama where there isn't any. He just took a little time away from popularity and I don't think it concerns any of us whether he wants to work for Hollywood or not.

he's doing just what he likes. and he is incredible in Servant. Even Guillermo del Toro praised his performance saying he stole the show. and M Night Shyamalan literally said “I don't know if I've ever seen this kind of reinvention from child actor to adult actor in my life". he was so good in the abc murders too...he just does what he likes and doesn't like to be in the spotlight

Are his fame days over? Oh God, I hope not. I am a 62 yr old man and when the Harry Potter books came out, my youngest son was talking about the book he had been reading at school. So I spoke with my wife and my mother, who was an avid reader to the point that is permeated our family dynamic, and my mother bought him the first book on the understanding that he finish it and explain the story to her. Well, I also read it, wanting to know what my children were doing and their interests. I fell in love with the book and subsequently bought them all as they were released for my son and I to enjoy together. We live on either end of the country now, but he recently sent me the Elder Wand of Dumbledore and it now rests on the mantle of my fireplace on a display stand. I also must say that Ron Weasley was my sons favorite student at Hogwarts. Good luck to Rupert and I truly hope he is happy and content with whatever comes next in his life.
Look Rupert is going down the path Alan Rickman showed him as a child. If you look at Alan he thought that the best thing was to love what your doing that being art or acting and have FUN. You don't have to be serious to be good at your craft just embrace it and have fun live your life the same way and you won't regret it. And Rupert learned from Alan that lesson very well.
I love the fact that, despite the fame, he has not let it all go to his head. He keeps true to who he is.
I am going to tell you something that is going to blow your mind: some people don't want Hollywood especially when they already experienced more fame than most actors and are probably rich enough to not go after every paycheck they throw at you. Hollywood can be a destructive place so it's a blessing that you can work and do what you like outside Hollywood, without need fame, glory or money.

He is working regularly in a profession where at any one time only 2% of registered actors are working. That alone means he is successful after Harry Potter.
I think he is amazing. I love the way he leads his life, the decisions he makes. It couldn’t have been easy with all the fame but he managed to find himself and accomplished his dreams. He was my childhood crush all through out HP movies and I don’t regret it I truly support him🙆🏻♀️
