  • Poncho is learning fast! To help teach him how to steer I am using driving reins to teach him. He does not have much practice but after a little bit of fighting I finally convince him I know what I’m doing! How will he do when he is out of the barn?!? Let’s see!
    Part 2 coming soon!

Hi Rebekah, I think you're doing a great job with Poncho. First of all, the weight he has gained is awesome, he was sooo thin when ya'll first brought him home. He's always been a pretty boy, but with the added muscle and weight, now he's a beautiful boy. When his training is done, he's really going to make someone a very nice horse 🐴. Keep it up sweetie, your doing great! Love and God Bless you all 💜 ✝️ Jennifer

I personally like your voice overs - I don't always catch what you are saying otherwise. I totally agree you are doing a good job and are a natural. Ponch is a good looking horse! ❤❤❤

Wondering why you can't use bitless bridles like on Free Spirit Equestrian..? 🐴

Repetition is the key, I think.

Love seeing Poncho's progress. Even his mane is looking good! He's such a nice boy! You're a natural trainer Rebeka and have a lot of good patience too...keep it up! We just joined the Patreon channel, so we'll be able to communicate and not miss anything! Too bad you can't cast the Patreon videos like you can TH-cam 😏

I wonder if horses have to “sleep on it” a few times before it really sinks into their brain? Looking forward to part 2.

If he went like he had been doing it a long time I would worry about him. He will get it evenually.

You are doing great. Maybe Poncho has a dental issue?

We have had his teeth done before I started training to make sure that wouldn’t cause an issue. Intolerance to the bit is very common at first and with one like him just takes a little extra time to get over.
