It took me a while to come up with a way for my bench to stop moving backwards during use with heavy weights but once I figured that out it’s been golden. I definitely agree Titan has been stepping it up recently in quality
I have another brand of Stealth Leg press for my rack. The minor inconvenience of hooking it up to the rack is so worth it on leg day. You can easily detach the loading pins from the back of the leg press with quick hitch pins so it’ll be basically a flat storage option against the wall, and not so obtuse to move around. All in all, $600 is a stellar price, and Titan has been creeping up the quality control ladder steadily the last few years, and their prices with free shipping makes them hard to pass up. Also, to prevent the bench from moving backwards with increasing weight, simply chain the front feet of the bench to the front supports of your rack.
It’s a cool piece of gear, great review. If my home gym had enough room to store that, I’d consider buying an actual leg press machine instead. The leg press is something I used to use a lot when I worked out at a globo gym, but I have not missed it since transitioning to garage workouts. This product is cool, and I considered it when it first came out, but there are far better ways to spend $600 in a garage gym that isn't a piece of equipment that only does one thing well. I do, however, love that it just sits on the J-cups and can used on any rack.
So long as it performs a similar function to a machine leg press, then I'd say it's a great idea for most home gym owners. Whilst it may not be as a good as a dedicated leg press machine, sled, kickback machine etc., the fact it can be used for all of those, without taking up as much space, and for significantly cheaper than buying all those implements separately, makes it a great tool. I would still prefer a proper leg press machine, sled etc, but I'd also need a lot more money and a bigger garage, so something like this would be a great alternative.
I guess for a low sled you could always add a rope and turn it into a hand over hand pulling sled since it is so low. Just an idea to add functionality. Another thought he could always add a ratchet strap from the rack around your bench easy enough to keep your bench from sliding backwards.

+1 for leg press machine. I’m getting a leg ext / curl attachment for my bench instead of a separate machine to save space for the leg press. I do calf raises on leg press machine as well.
Hi coop! Had this piece since it released. I agree w you. it is heavy and kinda annoying to set up but really only takes me less than 5 mins. Thinking about making a dedicated section for it on the side of my rack with some additional uprights/cross beams. Good review!
Great idea! I agree it can be a little annoying to move, but overall I thought it was a good piece. The versatility sold me on it. -Mike, GGR Community Manager.
The set-up is similar to first generation Pendulum Hip Press. The Pendulum Hip press has a declining seat which created the best possible angles for loading hips and legs but, reduces shearing force on knees and negative force on lumbar spine. That is a difficult task.
I'd like to see some reviews of leg press machines. Maybe some leg press / hack squat combination machines as well. Not many out there. Squats are great but the leg press shouldn't be overlooked IMO. Really nice for the calf muscles as well.
Any issue with it saying it has a 500# weight limit? I’ve used the hammer version before and know I could get well above that and can on a squat press which is a similar arc to this but inverted. Really want one but the weight restrictions concerns me
I think for the price and the setup time, you may as well go with the DIY leg press idea that you have on your website. Would be cool if you made a video comparing the DIY option to this Titan Leg Press 😁
I like and agree with everything Coop laid out in this review but I think it makes for a really nice kickback variation. I would suggest standing up and holding on to the rack instead of doing them from the ground maybe. It feels just like the hammer strength version you'd find at a globo gym
I would agree with that the kickback feels a lot like one from a globo gym. The functionality and versatility of this piece make it worth the price to me. -Mike, GGR Community Manager.
If you pull the weight horns and bar holders off it’s really not all that difficult to move/set up. I have a 6 post rack and keep it mounted to the back posts up and out of the way, then just lift and move it to the front when I want to use it. Throw 1 pair of bar holders and the weight horns back on and I’m good to go. Set up time is maybe 1-2 minutes, and without all the stuff on it it’s relatively easy to grab and move. That stuff isn’t super heavy, but with 4 of those hooks and 2 weight horns it does add up. I’d guess you shed 40-50 pounds when removed.
I moved it numerous times after this was filmed and it wasn't too bad. For the versatility I really think it's a decent value. -Mike, GGR Community Manager
1. Would the leg press plate on the jammer arms be more efficient use of space? 2. Maybe a harness would allow the user a more upright posture pulling the sled vice pushing.
Is there a version that has independent platforms for each leg? (I realize I could do one leg at a time, but I like when I can be balanced while ensuring identical effort.)
What was the Max rating for weight on it, and does say 500 lbs on this feel close to 500 lbs on a regular 45 deg one? Personally its intriguing, but not sure all that setup plus the time it takes to load much more plates than say a squat would take would be worth it. I fabricated a pretty great rack mounted reverse hyper and it seems to be a lot less setup than this and its pretty much a wall ornament at this point!
its actually not hard to set up or put onto the rack. I store it on the wall so it doesnt take up a lot of space. I put it onto the rack without the weight horns or sled feet and it doesnt weigh anywhere near 120 lbs and is easy to handle.
Great review, and love this channel! I have the Inspire Fitness FPC1 Full Power Cage, which is 60" long. It looks like this wouldn't fit, as it's 48" long. If that's the case, what leg press attachment would you recommend?
How heavy can you get with this before it starts pushing the bench back? Or shouldn't I be concerned about that? And how comfortable is the position when using an incline bench to leg press?
I have a rep short rack with no holes on the sides of my uprights. Would this leg press work with my rack? If not, can you recommend a leg press which doesn't need side holes on the uprights to work with my rack? Thank you
Coop. I know you can squat over 1000lbs but for us normal people. How much weight did you have to load to do 10 reps? Weight capacity says 500lbs. Does not seem like much for a leg press.

Great idea! I agree it can be a little annoying to move, but overall I thought it was a good piece. The versatility sold me on it. -Mike, GGR Community Manager.
Yazzzz! Been waiting for this review!!
👊
But when is the Titan leg extension / hamstring curl machine getting it review??
that's a good idea, and easily makeable with a trip to Lowes.
The set-up is similar to first generation Pendulum Hip Press. The Pendulum Hip press has a declining seat which created the best possible angles for loading hips and legs but, reduces shearing force on knees and negative force on lumbar spine. That is a difficult task.
Titan Lever Arms, plus Leg Press Attachment instead?
Or is that only going t work with a Titan rack.
That's what I'm thinking too. Cheaper and more versatile.
@@ericnavarro5746 I have the Titan lever arms on order, but PR-4000, so I think it'll be DIY time for the leg press.
I'd like to see some reviews of leg press machines. Maybe some leg press / hack squat combination machines as well. Not many out there. Squats are great but the leg press shouldn't be overlooked IMO. Really nice for the calf muscles as well.
I saw a diy version of this the other day that looked legit

Heck yeah! Someone screenshotted your comment and sent it to me. Thanks for recommending my video!
I love you man, thanks for sharing this
I love his shirt so much haha.
Love your vids coop.
👊🙏
Give us details on where to buy that t shirt! Please
Where'd you get that tee shirt?!
I wish it was a little bit cheaper. It's a little bit out of my price range for something that essentially only has one (good) function
Any issue with it saying it has a 500# weight limit? I’ve used the hammer version before and know I could get well above that and can on a squat press which is a similar arc to this but inverted. Really want one but the weight restrictions concerns me
Do leg extensions next
Titan leg curl/extension review please!
Can you do a review on the Titan leg press hack squat?
Great review! I have the Body Solid multi press rack…could I use this on that?
Hey man I love the videos. what do you recommend for a leg press/hack squat machine?? Thank you!
I think for the price and the setup time, you may as well go with the DIY leg press idea that you have on your website. Would be cool if you made a video comparing the DIY option to this Titan Leg Press 😁
Had one - never used it but a couple of times as it was a pain in the ass to set up and take down.
👍👍👍 Wish I could give more than just one thumbs up...
If rogue made one with individual foot articulation I would buy it.
Now I wanna play ring toss with my home gym.
Thank you for the review. What's the max weight limit?
Yes im thinking about getting one..
Will we be seeing any reviews for anything from Texas Power soon?
Can you do a review on the Walmart Everyday Essentials version
Can you review Titan's hacksquat/leg press?
Is this something that fits on a wall rack? What kind of clearance is needed?
I think i would go with their vertical leg press over this one
Could you use this on a Force G12? Looks like it might work.
i started watching the review thinking then that's awesome
5 minutes into the review then I hate it
1. Would the leg press plate on the jammer arms be more efficient use of space?
2. Maybe a harness would allow the user a more upright posture pulling the sled vice pushing.
Review on the rogue 2x aggro please!
Is there a version that has independent platforms for each leg? (I realize I could do one leg at a time, but I like when I can be balanced while ensuring identical effort.)
Jammer arms, plus MacGyver?
How does this compare to the lever arm leg press attachment
👊 I agree after moving it a few times you figure out how to move it and be more efficient setting it up.- Mike, GGR Community Manager
What is the minimum depth needed for proper use? I only have 16" between uprights. I built Basement Brandon's Rep 5000 space saving rack.
es igual de efectivo que una prensa de pierna de 45 grados?
the kickback would only work with light weight otherwise it will just push you forward?
Curious on the differences between this and the vertical leg press and which is better
Looks pretty sweet
Can I use this on a 2x2 rack and just use my 2x2 Jhooks?
I have a rep short rack with no holes on the sides of my uprights. Would this leg press work with my rack? If not, can you recommend a leg press which doesn't need side holes on the uprights to work with my rack? Thank you
Would i be able to use this on a marcy smith machine at all?
Where the shirt from though!?
Will this work on a Rogue RML690?
good review where those points at
It's got a 500 LB weight limit. Can't do my heavier leg press sets.
What about some calf exercises
Coop. I know you can squat over 1000lbs but for us normal people. How much weight did you have to load to do 10 reps? Weight capacity says 500lbs. Does not seem like much for a leg press.
Single leg exercises are your friend at home.
Why don't just use trolley with utility seat? Or even better lying down on yoga mat with Trolley lever leg press
If you use a reverse band set up, it might help to lift the behemoth into the rack. Not sure lol
Can you review a FORCE USA G20 ALL-IN-ONE TRAINER (Priced at $6,999.99)?
Where’s the shirt from???
Would this work in a rogue folding rack?
I would want to see it when it’s loaded with >300lb of plates. Seems like this would only work at lighter weights due to the design.
