R32/GTI Bumpers on My MK5 1.4s GOLF

- Sourced some damaged bumpers that you've seen in my last video, but here is the video we've been waiting for, installing the R32 Rear Bumper and GTI Front Bumper onto my MK5 1.4s Golf, with some modifications made tot he front, its not as simple as you'd think.
So if you have a 1.4 or 1.6 MK5 Golf then take look at this video and see the challenges and problems that you will face.
On the GT's it is much easier as the front braces are all the same, whereas on the lower model MK5 Golf's the front brace and holdings are different, it will work but it won't be perfect.

Hey bro amazing video as I’ve wanted to do this on my mk5 1.6, I wanted to ask if these are “style” bumpers or just bumpers straight off the cars themselves? I’ve been told that it’s better to get the style bumper as the slam panel may be different but idk? Thanks In advance
Yeah you’re spot on, there are GTi “Style” bumpers that are designed for these lower trim cars. I just had the opportunity to buy these genuine ones off a GT and an R32 as they were a little cheaper 👍🏽

To the rear, I’ve got the R32 Rear Bumper, JOM Dynamic lights, Remus Exhaust, Side Spoilers and tints. Spoiler and maybe a new rear bumper soon

What exhaust systems fit the r32 style bumper do you know , for the golf gt tdi mk 5 ?
A lot of MK5 Golf exhaust kits do have the R32 Tips to fit an R32 bumper, all MK5 Golfs have the same exhaust so you can just search MK5 Golf Exhaust into eBay and find one with the R32 tips
is that the standard oem rear bumper you have on the car
Hi mate, it’s an R32 bumper just without the diffuser as my exhaust is not the same as the R32
Hello, is it an original vw jetta or GTI bumper or a replica? I want to put an original bumper from a vw G5 variant on my hatchback, will it fit after modifications? it's fine? thanks
The front bumper will need a little cutting, but they will both go straight on. These were original bumpers

I don’t have a link, but you can easily find them online by searching MK5 R32 Rear Bumper. This bumper is just without the diffuser

Just a 1.4, naturally aspirated

Why are the boot latches so cheap looking on UK golf’s? Rabbits had a concave or I guess you could say textured or deep VW logo opposed to that flat garbage
Yeah, we have the textured ones too, where the VW Logo is embossed. I think some models here had the flat ones, including the Plus and Fox. Very annoyed we didn’t get the Rabbit over here

Yes it is, the front bumper you already have, the R32 Rear bumper can be easily fitted
