I had a request to paint a bearded lizard and thought it would make a fun challenge. This painting was surprisingly quick in spite of all the detail work and went really smoothly. My favorite part was playing with the colors in his scales and the reflected light on his underbelly.

Wow! Which paints do you use for your paintings? They look so liquid and flowing. My acrylics are like paste. =/

I use Liquitex but also like Golden
