Bought this hunk of junk in April it plays for an hour or 2 then it shuts off and doesn’t come back on until I pull the dash out and unplug the whole thing then plug it back up.
www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0D1XRZ2FT/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1 Did not have to do anything. It shows a truck in the center of the screen with the corresponding door open.
I have the backup camera in my mirror, so no microphone. On my radio there is a microphone on the front and it works fine. As for the steering wheel phone button, I set that button to work the same as a "hey Google" and the red one to "end call".
Question: did the usb and aux port in the armrest work after this? I know they are powered directly by the deck itself, and as I use it to charge my phone, would kinda like to still keep it. Great video seems far too good to be true ! 😂
Carplay works pretty good wirelessly. Sometimes it wont connect but I just exit carplay on the radio and reopen and that fixes it. The only strange thing is sound from videos is a little delayed sometimes, but I should not be watching while driving anyway. 😆 Have not got around to the media hub yet, still using it just for charging, been busy with storm cleanup.
@@TheOpticleillusion for my truck, the camera is in the mirror. No changes needed. For my wife's Jeep it was plug in, but had to adjust the video type in the system menu.
@@matthiebra No extra wires. It may be a defect, also possible some models do not have those buttons light up. Part of the risk of these Chinese made radios.
Literally a waste of time, you didn't show how the ac control head has 2 holes missing, so I custom made brackets to hold it, then don't even show how to wire it up. Dissatisfied
I always love looking at these videos!
If u don’t mind me asking how did u get back up camera to work
Dang man you left us in the dark with some stuff like the gps and mic….where did you put all that stuff
@@rodneys9805 I didn't add the mic. There was a Mike port on the front. Gps I just stuck behind. It is working fine.

I’ve had trouble customizing it. Could you post a video on how to do so? I’ve messed with it but can’t get it.
th-cam.com/video/UXAtioMSQmI/w-d-xo.html I go over how to get to that stuff here and even how to set the background.
Can you provide a link from where you got yours? And did you have to do anything to make it work to know your doors opened or closed? Thanks.

Does your phone control on the steering wheel still work What about the microphone thats built into the mirror? Or should i use whats in the kit?

It works for charging, not data :( You have to replace the hub in the armrest with this. a.co/d/bWvPqKv
Brian, just your video. Can you tell me which radio that is and where you got it from. TIA.

Awesome Brian. Thanks. One question about the installation was it plug and play? Or did you have to get other things to connect to factory wiring
@@LuisDiaz-nu3iz It came with everything I needed. Very easy install.
Does this have carplay as well? Wired and wireless? Did the center console USB media hub work like you were told?

Hi, just ordered the same unit. Was the backup camera plug and play or did you have to splice into the 21 22 slot and run the RCA in?
And btw, this video will help me big time tomorrow...thanks!

Did the LEDs for the button turn on automatically or did you have to do something? Is there a wire you need to put?
Because I installed mine and does not work at all

To bad you didn’t show how you wired it up
Yeah. TBH wasn't much to show. Direct plug and play.

Sorry bro. Mine didn't have the missing holes. Plus the wire was a direct plug in. There are hundreds of these on Amazon, experiences may vary.
In this video I show that this model is plug and play. th-cam.com/video/UXAtioMSQmI/w-d-xo.html
How did u make the custom brackets?
