I like to move things quickly. Always have been that way (since starting on ebay in 2001). If they offer more than I paid, I almost always accept. I keep an inventory of about 100-200 items and can rotate quickly. I am also super picky, I very rarely will list anything with flaws. Even one little dot-stain, I will not put it on ebay. I just want to eliminate any reason for returns, and I post measurements. The longer you let an item sit, the longer I feel like the style becomes less desirable. My BF is the opposite, he prices high and waits for a buyer to come along. He also has a full-time job as an Analyst, so- he can afford to wait a long time to make the sale.
It’s so interesting you say that because (I’m new) I had my VA sending 10% offers and it was not good… I changed it to 25% and my Poshmark is blowing up!
How can you imagine been a volume seller with 2 kids (even baby)? You’ll stir yourself in dust this way. Honestly, my re-selling journey started with your video 4 years ago. Now I’m still part time (15 hours / week) and mom. Making average 10k a month and afraid even thinking to be a “volume seller”. I do basically what you taught me, never do a life shows or so. I keep my inventory under 1000. You can manage your 5.5k revenue without making 30% offers and expecting $10 profit just be selective with inventory. Your time worth more!
I’m sure you’ve promoted on eBay before but if for some reason you aren’t I would experiment with it because it’s the only platform I believe where it really does make a huge difference
Love your videos! Learning so much and I appreciate you taking the time to share all your knowledge on reselling! Good luck on the birth of your second child!❤❤
It's possible your poshmark being down from the Posher Va offer decrease has also contributed to your sales on Ebay rising, so keep an eye on overall sales since the Posher VA change when analyzing
I love your videos!! You make it all so understandable! I’ve sol a few times but you make me want to go all in. I have made some offers a few minutes ago. I can’t figure out how to bundle so I left you a note!! Good luck this first weekend in March!!
@crystaljessop6783 hi! i'm clearly not mogi, but i use the exact same storage racks (white ones from lowe's) and use the sterilite 66 quart clear plastic latch boxes from walmart ($8.34/apiece) on them. two of them fit perfectly on each shelf with no friction or extra effort, with or without the lids on. hope this helps! :)
I’m not sure if you ever answered this question. But how do you or if you are, planning on keeping up with your reselling business once baby comes? I recently gave birth in November and my sales have just increased in February since I just started to list and do inventory since baby came is a bit older now
Morgan will take maternity leave for at least a few weeks. Our first baby we had employees to manage the load, especially shipping. We are expecting a steep decline with this baby now that we don't have employees. So to answer your question, we don't plan on keeping up. It will take a dip and life will continue when Morgan gets back to it. - Matt
i still think you should keep 20% offers to likers, maybe lower your prices slightly, and wait for buyers to get used to it lol. i only send out 10% off (as does McThriftzie), tons of ppl accept my offers. Shit, on eBay, i only offer 7% off, no promoted listings, and ppl accept those all day long, lol
The easiest way for me to remember the buttons is L for Ladies, so buttons on the left 🥰💃🏻 great sales girl!
I've had several really low-ball offers and can't get myself to accept them.
How to remember that men's buttons are on the right: Remember the saying about "Mr. Right".
Ain't gonna lie. I'm going to miss your videos when the baby comes.
Me too!!! 😭
If someone had told me 2 months ago that I would be watching someone bag up eBay sales....😂😂 But yes I'll miss her!

Will you do an update with how to sell on posh in 2024? I feel my sales have gone down this month

I am going to try some cross listing to eBay. How do you determine eBay shipping? A flat rate to everyone? What is easiest? Thank you for your input!
Why pack in paper and then the mailing packaging?
People ask me measurements even when they're in the specs 😅

Nice sales! Baby is coming so soon. How exciting!
I have over 6000 active on Poshmark and sold four today for less than 100 bucks. 😟
Hi, what size clear bins do you use in your shelving system? Thanks!

Ladies on the left is how I remember (the L for ladies and L for left). Or just remember Beyoncé is a woman and sings 🎶 to the left to the left lol.😂
