I had an old puma 340 that was doggy on the top end. Like 40mph max and top speed would vary sometimes slower or just a bit faster. I changed the fuel pump and it went 50 to 55+ consistently after that.
6k RPM is too low for these. Max RPM for these 440 fanners is 7K RPM. If he's stuck at 6K he is losing out on a LOT of top speed potential. Or maybe the tach is reading low. It is older and poorly maintained and looks like it was /is stored outside..
I wouldn't mind one of those sleds, they can last for a lifetime if not driven hard or rowdy but I remember these sleds in the 80s and 90s
Just picked up an identical sled for my daughter, it’s in pretty good shape and runs strong. 1000 bucks with a parts sled to boot.
I have the same sled in mint shape.it’s my daughters
7200 is the sweet spot for them

So how do you rejett in account for elevation change ? Like I moved from 4,500ft to 830ft what would I need to do for that ??

you dont need it too go pass 6 it would be over rev
