To all the students who are in confusion. With my personal experience of over 5 years earning a salary more than the double of the average salary of these B schools. If someone has a salary less than 5-6 lakhs there is no point in doing an online MBA(unless you are the sole earner for the family). Because full time offline MBA will give you much more returns in the longer run. Only If your salary is greater than 12-15 lakhs then you need to do the cost benefit analysis.
Good video however I feel a few key elements were missing 1 - The overall experience and exposure to an offline institute can't be matched with an online setup you actually miss out on the collaborations and bondings. 2 - Since the barrier to entry is pretty low for an online MBA the value is considered lesser 3 - Most of the online courses doesn't provide campus placements if they provide what's the placement ratio !! 4 - I also felt that a linear calculation of salary increment is not justified, while the starting salaries are more or less same however salary increment after 2-3 years depends on how one has grown professionally. (Personal experience)

Not really. One of my roommates did not get an promotion or increment even after working for more than 3 years, simply because he did not have a bachelor degree. So to be on a safer side a degree is necessary.
An online mba has no entry barrier(or it's very low) whereas an offline mba has a high entry barrier, this is the difference between those two MBA's. If there is no entry barrier then anyone can do it. This is just a promotion. 🙄

Stil, is it worth investing the time, energy and money in an MBA? Does it fetch a suitable increment to such a working professional?

Sir, it has been a good video but what should we do if we are not getting a job or low payment job after doing an online MBA from an upgrade because most of us might take the loan for doing an MBA. My question is will we be able to repay the loan with less salary job?
First time I felt that he had told the wrong data. As I know in offline MBA we get the IIM colleges and the Avg package is around 34 lakhs example IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Kolkata and many more. Doing offline MBA is way better than online MBA.
you completely missed the major difference. offline MBA involves experience. you being in class with people builds up confidence and a different mindset of learning. online cant provide you that
Do pgdm from IIM or ISB is valid. As it has no recognisation from UGC or AICTE . More over IIM pgdm or MBA r just certificates . Even most IIMs don’t provide equivalent certification of their course from AIU. I work in IOCL , where there is provision for self improvement by higher education . And it provide colleges and universities list from where u can do higher education . Most of the universities and institution are listed like IIT and NITs even NLUs but no IIM . On enquiring from My HR department , the reason they provided because IIMs don’t hv UGC ,AIU,AICTE accreditation .company don’t accept their Programs

But it depends on company to company and industry type. For example in construction company ,the person working is filed or site has lesser chances of growth than the person working in Head Office of the same organisation.
Hello sir! Does college, university matter if going for online mba? How relevant is the fact if one takes online mba degree from a good college or regular course from not such good college. Which one is preferred (online or regular candidate) when going for job prospects in future?

No online MBA course will get you a legit job compared to an offline MBA. That's the harsh reality. There is absolutely no substitute for doing an MBA from a Tier 1 college. No online MBA will offer you a decent pay package at even a TIER 3 company. It's mostly sham and false. PS Ankur completed his MBA from ISB.
i would say guys please don't fall what this influencers suggest please invest your time do research do cost-benefit analysis and then only take any decision. These guys earn through brand promotion and i am not against it they are like a media house in which the major source of income is brand promotion. but please don't blindly listen to them (ex- vauld )
Sorry to say but you are making lots of confusion on the basis of 10 year horizon.. as in every country we have to pay a lot tax which means we cant earn more than 50 lakh if we think 10 year in hand salaries.
Sir I m from Karnataka and in Karnataka the NEP New education policy is implemented so It's like 4 years degree and one years master so it's like very new to us and even confusing .

Hello sir. Some my concern is clear from your video. And something i have some question so 1st is Recruiter always give first preference to Offline Mba only Regular student Online mba is best for who alredy working on good position in compay like Sr.manager or above post. And in Online classes they are only focuse for interview preparations and they are not mostly focus on teaching property.
Start of the video on top left it says paid promotion means upgrad is paying him to make this video and then upgrad link and then referring to its website. So he is “guiding” you to do online mba, the conclusion is evident at the start only. Some pointers on the assumptions taken in the excel: 1. If 3.6 is starting salary and growth is 10% which he assumed then in online mba scene the starting salary after 3yrs will not be 6 it would be around 4.8 so the base becomes lower. 2. He himself is isb passout and give so much gyaan to do epic shit is asking to do mba online from a random collage with 0% placement surety. Atleast tier 3 mba still has 30_40% surety if you are ok student. 4. There is so much collaboration based activities in mba that any online mba can never match it. 5. When you have so much data from crisil, then why show a 2016 data from newspaper - reason offline mba pckg shown is just 12 lpa for tier 1 collage. ISB this year avrg salary is 30 lpa. I do like some of his videos, but doing this to people s career is not fair just to get some paid promotion. Maybe his team warikoo will delete this comment, but i felt like writing it so i did.

First time I felt that he had told the wrong data. As I know in offline MBA we get the IIM colleges and the Avg package is around 34 lakhs example IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Kolkata and many more. Doing offline MBA is way better than online MBA.
you completely missed the major difference. offline MBA involves experience. you being in class with people builds up confidence and a different mindset of learning. online cant provide you that

Do pgdm from IIM or ISB is valid. As it has no recognisation from UGC or AICTE . More over IIM pgdm or MBA r just certificates . Even most IIMs don’t provide equivalent certification of their course from AIU. I work in IOCL , where there is provision for self improvement by higher education . And it provide colleges and universities list from where u can do higher education . Most of the universities and institution are listed like IIT and NITs even NLUs but no IIM . On enquiring from My HR department , the reason they provided because IIMs don’t hv UGC ,AIU,AICTE accreditation .company don’t accept their Programs

But it depends on company to company and industry type. For example in construction company ,the person working is filed or site has lesser chances of growth than the person working in Head Office of the same organisation.

No online MBA course will get you a legit job compared to an offline MBA. That's the harsh reality. There is absolutely no substitute for doing an MBA from a Tier 1 college. No online MBA will offer you a decent pay package at even a TIER 3 company. It's mostly sham and false. PS Ankur completed his MBA from ISB.

i would say guys please don't fall what this influencers suggest please invest your time do research do cost-benefit analysis and then only take any decision. These guys earn through brand promotion and i am not against it they are like a media house in which the major source of income is brand promotion. but please don't blindly listen to them (ex- vauld )
Sorry to say but you are making lots of confusion on the basis of 10 year horizon.. as in every country we have to pay a lot tax which means we cant earn more than 50 lakh if we think 10 year in hand salaries.

1st is Recruiter always give first preference to Offline Mba only Regular student
Online mba is best for who alredy working on good position in compay like Sr.manager or above post.
And in Online classes they are only focuse for interview preparations and they are not mostly focus on teaching property.

dont believe him this is just a sponser video offline MBA from tier 1 and 2 college is far better than online mba.
Start of the video on top left it says paid promotion means upgrad is paying him to make this video and then upgrad link and then referring to its website. So he is “guiding” you to do online mba, the conclusion is evident at the start only. Some pointers on the assumptions taken in the excel:
1. If 3.6 is starting salary and growth is 10% which he assumed then in online mba scene the starting salary after 3yrs will not be 6 it would be around 4.8 so the base becomes lower.
2. He himself is isb passout and give so much gyaan to do epic shit is asking to do mba online from a random collage with 0% placement surety. Atleast tier 3 mba still has 30_40% surety if you are ok student.
4. There is so much collaboration based activities in mba that any online mba can never match it.
5. When you have so much data from crisil, then why show a 2016 data from newspaper - reason offline mba pckg shown is just 12 lpa for tier 1 collage. ISB this year avrg salary is 30 lpa.
I do like some of his videos, but doing this to people s career is not fair just to get some paid promotion. Maybe his team warikoo will delete this comment, but i felt like writing it so i did.
