I get that some people make huge tanks because they want to have huge fish, but I'm still surprised i dont see more huge tanks with just tons of small fish
in all of honesty the best seafood for me is easily mussels and that one fish in sushi restaurants served whole fried. mussels are really tasty when doing that japanese steam thing, can’t remember what it is, got it from kimagure cook. that one fish is whole and fried to perfection. oh and they are full of eggs so they are usually like shrimp, “berried.” you can even eat their spinal cords, and this fish hits hard with that japanese mayo. all of the fish are usually females which were ready to spawn their eggs and the absurd amount of eggs inside them is just way too many to count. probably 1 million eggs each 1cm cut down the fish if you cut it
I absolutely hate that first tank and I'm one of the people who went there to criticize as much as possible. I don't care. But obviously that crazy woman just cares about views.
QOTW: I think that I like all seafood, except salmon roe and raw squid. Favorites are crab, shrimp, lobster. Also, I feel like a noob compared to these people that have beautiful tanks and it's their first tank. Like, bruh, I've been doing this for like 20 years and I suck at planted tanks... But I also have low tech setups, so no CO2, but good lights and super nutrient dense substrate. Still, it's kinda defeating lol
when I was about 5yo, I realized that our big tank of cichlids was fish and also the thing on my plate was fish...I was horrified. Absolutely refused to eat fish. Spent hours and hours sitting stubbornly because I had to eat the fish before I could leave the table. Legend has it that I lasted about a week, and then started eating fish again :D I love a thicc slab of grilled tuna, or flash fried with lemony garlic seasoning. I'll only eat octopus in sushi but mannnnnn it's good like that. MMMmmmmmMMMMMMMMm

That tall tank would be perfect for garden eels and seahorses
Funny Fish Guy back at it again 😳
Snow Crab and Red Snapper are tied for favorite.
I absolutely hate that first tank and I'm one of the people who went there to criticize as much as possible. I don't care. But obviously that crazy woman just cares about views.
The pants/plants thing is so real.
Qotw: I just made some crab and corn chowder that's good but now that you mention scallops I could really go for some
ive done many water changes and still use buckets
fill that tank with a vertical scape (tons of anubias monstera), kuhli loaches, and 1000s galaxy rasboras!!
One day, one day I will get my fish tank reviewed. 😖
Legend has it that I lasted about a week, and then started eating fish again :D
I love a thicc slab of grilled tuna, or flash fried with lemony garlic seasoning. I'll only eat octopus in sushi but mannnnnn it's good like that. MMMmmmmmMMMMMMMMm
Me personally I would add Long Fin Danios . They look so cool.
