They're magic is the sum being greater than the parts. They knew how to piece together simple parts that when combined became just the right sum. Any great jazz or classical prodigy is light years beyond any one of the Beatles as a solo musician. I'd say Lennon and McCartney were 2 of the best songwriters of the 20th century and beyond

The ear and mind can catch a slight miss. But had I not read the comments that said this was a cover, my ears and mind thought I just heard the 4 lads in 1969 playing an instrumental track that was darn close to the album and single release. My friend, simply outstanding effort. Unreal and uncanny.

I’ve been a professional musician for 40 years and I’ve never found a drummer who can emulate Ringo. There was such deep feel, groove and emotional impact in his playing. Some drummers are ignorant enough to think Ringo was lame. I’ve challenged several of them to try and copy his playing and they all failed. He was one of the most unique and inspired drummers in music history.
You really captured the spirit and energy of the song and the Beatles in this. I want to put in a playback loop. I LOVED the look John and Paul gave each other just be they started on the rooftop.

Yes, I have listened for many times Let it be performed by the Beatles. And I was sure Paul had played another chord that is on 3.02 of the cover. I didn't know why the Beatles left that point.

It's no disrespect, Alex did a phenomenal job, but Ringo's fills and groove are so unique, it's why those who criticize him have tin ears and no sense of arrangements. Ringo played the song more than he played the "drums" if you get what I mean. Solo's and flash didn't concern him, he wanted to play the song.

Until I read the comments I assumed this was part of the "Get Back" documentary and they had removed the vocals from the original recording. Because in an interview Peter Jackson said they had made use of neural net software that could isolate vocal and instrumental parts quite well. It's a very good cover.

Fantastic job! I have attempted this as well and I cannot seem to nail down Ringo's drumming. It's hard for me to isolate them. And I LOVE the toms at 2:45 . Spot on!
And to think, none of this would _very_ likely have happened if some lad hadn't walked into a record shop on a rainy day in Liverpool town centre back around the early sixties and asked the manager for a copy of possibly one of the most obscure records in the country - or even the world. Luckily for the world, including the group who played backing on the recording, the shop manager, one Brian Epstein, though not having it in stock, was principled enough to search high and low to find a copy; a search that eventually led him to seek out the group in question, who happened to play in a cellar just a couple of hundred yards from his shop; and the rest, as they say, is history. That's how fate plays it's hand.

And to think, none of this would _very_ likely have happened if some lad hadn't walked into a record shop on a rainy day in Liverpool town centre back around the early sixties and asked the manager for a copy of possibly one of the most obscure records in the country - or even the world. Luckily for the world, including the group who played backing on the recording, the shop manager, one Brian Epstein, though not having it in stock, was principled enough to search high and low to find a copy; a search that eventually led him to seek out the group in question, who happened to play in a cellar just a couple of hundred yards from his shop; and the rest, as they say, is history. That's how fate plays it's hand.
I can faintly hear that early solo in there! Great job on this! Love little hidden gems like that. Keep on rockin'! And now, your host for the evening, The Bottles!

What a great band must be from another world. Their surely
too talented from this one. I’ve loved “The Beatles”, for 58 years and even tough my hearing is fading their music is still crisp, as it was the first time I heard it. Please let us hear the part you cut.
