    My first PCP was a Benjamin discovery in .22 and since then I've purchased 2 other PCP a Walther Reign in .25 and an RTI Prophet with .22 and .25 barrels and to be 100% honest my Discovery out shoots them all with JSB 18.13 grn pellets. Soo much money invested and I still love my #1 Disco. On top of the outstanding accuracy my disco weighs 6 lbs with a scope on it. I hope to get my Prophet tuned in. I've got more pellets and slugs coming than I'll know what to do with.

    Hello. The speeds you have reached, have you reached them because you have mounted the LW? Or can you reach those speeds even with the CZ? I mean with 18 grain pellets. Thank you. I always watch your videos with a lot of passion. congratulations 👍. I have the Rti Priest2 with CZ barrel, pressure regulator and hammer spring regulated. Thank you.

      The speeds are independent of barrel manufacturers, the power is higher because I was using the reg. set for the .25 cal gun...

    Noticed something interesting. With the Redesigned pellet i don't reach your speeds (5 m/s less), but with the Beast pellet i get 7 m/s more than you.
    This is with my Priest 2 HP @150 bars and LR barrel.

      There is a logic explanation for this kind of behaviour: your regulated pressure is slightly lower than mine; this means that with lighter pellets, it is not able to accelerate the pellet to the same velocity as you need very short bursts of high pressure to get high energies with light pellets. At the same time because your pressure is lower, the valve is opened for longer time and this enable the heavy pellet to be accelerated further down the barrel. The lighter pellets does not gain from this as it is already out of the barrel by that time.

      @@Harolddespui it should have been about 150 bars but I think it was a but more like 155 bars. I am also not sure if I had the additional weigh on the hammer (the spring guide) or not. That would explain why my valve was opened for a shorter period of time...

    Wow it's been a while since your last RTI video, I can asume that this is not the same version as the first one you did long time ago, what are the changes or improvements on the gun ? Thanks again Gregor for sharing

    • @gregorkamensek3923

      Generally, the gun stayed the same, the differences are minor and were done gradually (as far as I know). They are: easier cooking, single spring for 150 and 125 bar setting, ability to lock the bolt in the rear position, small differences in the frame and the connecting hose beneath the barrel to make service easier, different muzzle cap and thread, removed air stripper, ...

    Do you think that with the barrel .22 LW special for redesigned can you make good groupings at 100m?.....You have already tested this barrel

      @@gregorkamensek3923 With the .22 LR barrel, can you remember what speed did you get with the Redesigned and at which regulator pressure?
      Or did u use the LR barrel already in this video?

    • @gregorkamensek3923
      @gregorkamensek3923  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Harolddespui Hi. I am using this barrel right now, but it is slightly longer than standard. I have the regulator set to 180 bars and I can get about 320 m/s (1050 fps) with redesigns. With standard / shorter barrel length you might get a little less but not by much. In this configuration, it is still quite efficient. You could get more but it would start to waist air. I am not sure if my TP is standard configuration though... RTI will hopefully standardize this ASAP, we already discussed on making a video about 5,5 LR barrel soon...

    • @Harolddespui
      @Harolddespui 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@gregorkamensek3923 To get your speeds from the video (307m/s for the Jumbo en 273m/s for the Redesigned), i have to set the regulator at 170/175 bars.
      I have the .22 Priest with .22 LR barrel. I can't get enough power out of my one. RTI arms at first said to me over the email that i have to enlarge the transferport and valve to get more speed, so i took the conclusion that they were basically saying that there are internal differences between the .22 and the .25/.30 model, but in another email they claim there is no difference.
      So i am very confused right now. I can't get enough power and i don't know the cause of it.

    • @Harolddespui
      @Harolddespui 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@gregorkamensek3923 To make it even more confusing: on a Dutch forum someone says he gets 290 m/s with JSB Redesigned @150 bars. This is a .25 Priest rebuilt to .22 LR.
      So we have you in this video: 274 m/s
      Me (@150 bar): 260 m/s.
      Guy on Dutch forum (@150 bar): 290 m/s.
      Put me in the ground, i'm dead. WTF is going on here.

      I would not know. I haven't tried the FX yet. Even if I did, I think the answer is not that easy as most PCP's that offer this kind of accuracy are hard to test as other factors usually have a bigger role so some people might get better accuracy with Priest and some with FX...

    Where did you get the 150bar regulator from?

    • @gregorkamensek3923

      I would suggest you buy the adjustable regulator form RTI. For that video, I used a fixed regulator form Priest version 1, that used 150 bar regulator for the .25 version (not sure it they have those still).
