Oh man. I remember playing this with my sister. She was terrible at driving so she chucked items and I drove. We beat the whole game. Every cup every CC. It was an amazing accomplishment at the time and it felt great to do it with her.

Nononono.. Waluigi Stadium did not exist on the 64... Wario Stadium did and has a similar aesthetic but a different design. -Someone who played wayyy too much MK64 growing up
Even though I missed the bus on the GameCube, some of the levels are similar to what i was to play so I got the nostalgia aftershocks 7:47 I love that Jazzy said ba-bombed but 😢
The only parts that urk me because this game was my childhood was them not knowing about shortcuts and other little things that they wouldn't know about. I just find it interesting to see people play my childhood favorite game and they don't know all the secrets in the game.
That's the reason why I keep asking you guys to play GTA more because I really enjoy the vibe you give from playing racing games. Please play more of these or other racing games.
Just some advice for you if guys ever play another Mario kart game to get a boost at the start of race you have to hold down “A” as soon “2” on the count down to get a bit of boost.
Well this was my childhood. I remember this one time where I was the driver and my sister was the backseat and we were racing our cousins. We were at Wario's stadium and they were in first place and about to reach the finish line. However, my sister threw the red box overhead and it landed right on top of them. They crashed just a couple of feet from the finish line but me and my sister managed to cross it first. Good times.
Protip: Best Kart is Diddy's. Generally, if you're new, pic two lightweights, their accel and handle are far superior... until you master your drift, which allows you to use pretty much any kart, though, I will say, the middle weights are masters of neither accel/handling or topspeed so.
Gosh I played this game so many times with my sister! To win all the cups I practiced hard after school whenever I got a chance. I wish I used that energy towards studying but hey it made great memory💕🍄🚗💨
You should do another episode of this but before that unlock the Special Cup by winning the Star Cup Grand Prix on 100cc. The Special Cup is where you get Rainbow Road ;)

Instead of launching the shells immediately Rik you can hold the button and the shell will hug the back of your kart and protect you from red shells
I always used to play this with flying koopa / diddy kong, so I could fire red shells forward and bananas backward.

You can do bots with 4 players but you need to use an Action Replay code to add them. Grand Prix is available for 2 players or 4 players via Co-Op
Tip: having different people in back lets you get different special items and grab two single cubes
