Hey Tyler looking for your advice. I'm thinking about buying a 2012 kx250f for $1500. All it needs is a top end. Owner said a valve broke and locked it up. Thoughts? Opinions?
Nathan Hahn I plan on ordering a top end kit (jug, piston, seals, and what ever else is needed along with valves). Deciding if I should tr and rebuild the top end myself, or have a shop do it and just have the whole engine gone through so I know it's good.

Quick question. Do you guys have recreational registration in America??? In Australia we have it and it's a registration for dirt bike so you can legally ride in the bush but can't legally ride on the road.
Dylan Rooney Yes we do, you have to have turn signals and brake lights to register your bike for the road.

luca the bazooka it's more to do with power the kx is a 4 stroke and yz is a 2 stroke so it depends on if you can handle the power
i prefer riding my yammie 225 4 stroke but i hate 2 strokes. its just i want a nice course bike for me seeing I'm 15
