I have to admit I have been putting off watching this video ever since you posted it and finally made the time to watch it today, I know posting this video took an immense amount of strength from you. It is so obvious your admiration and love for Mr Bat and what’s not to admire or love. Mr Bat was a decent human being and a man to be loved and admired, one might even say that Mr Bat was a “last of the Mohicans.”I have to say your videos have managed to capture the essence of who he was, which brought joy to so many of us, thanks for sharing him with us. Question, have you ever thought about using your writing skills to write a story about Mr Bat? It would definitely make for a very interesting read, and that way he can live on in the pages of a book in addition to the videos.
Thank you for this thoughtful comment. Editing this video wasn’t easy. In the short space, I grew to love him because of who is he, his talents and generosity. I’d love to work on a story about Mr Bat. In fact he inspired a character in my dad’s book.

I have been a silent fan of this channel for a while but I am compelled today to say, Mr Baptist this was an absolutely beautiful video. I can see why it took you this long to put forth to us. If it emits such emotions to us who may know Mr. BAT through our screens, one can only imagine what you may be feeling. This production can be classed with the most prestigious of documentaries out there. Your style of production is raw, humble and gets the point across. Do you know that feeling of watching a movie with a tragic ending and you k ow the ending already, this is how I felt watching this.

First and foremost, we thank and acknowledge and credit Mr. Lyndon Baptiste, a Talented Caribbean Author, for being the Pioneer who first discovered and introduced to the world, the Late Mr. Bat and Farmer Harry; two Authentic Bushmen from "Inside Caura".
I salute you Mr. Baptiste, and I recall the nights when you could not sleep, and found yourself, in full gear, in the wee hours of the morning, in the middle of the Bush, restlessly filming and documenting the life and times of Mr. Bat and Farmer Harry.
I have stated already that any work of Art that is worth anything tends to wring the Artist dry, and you were visibly exhausted after the work you had done creating this Documentary Style Series. Honestly, I do not think you have yet fully recovered, and I say so partially because of the length of time it took you to edit and publish this "Last Chapter".
Stitch this Series together, and fill in the blanks, and you have nothing short of a Blockbuster Movie!✨

Just finished watching the video. That was so sad and a little ironic too. The fact that you were afraid to get home and not have your family. Plus what Mr. Bat said about dying in Caura. I believe Mr Bat and both had the sense/ intuition that something was happening or about to. Rest in peace Mr Bat
It was a blessed day when you first met Mr Bat and a blessed day that you were able to record his last few hours on earth and truly it was a blessing for you and for all of us. Mr Bat, Mr Harry , Mr Lance and men like him are a dying breed. Molded by experience and grit. They have a decency, honesty and integrity that comes with the times in which they grew up. Can’t get that back. But they are great examples of humanity and we were and are blessed to know them through your vlogs. Thank you Lyndon for making it happen and sharing.❤

I started looking at your channel whilst Mr. Bat was still alive. Knowing that he passed last year and seeing this video now, brought me on the verge of grief. The things Mr. Bat said in the video, also Farmer Harry giving up his chance to answer questions (humbleness) that you posed to him just to allow Mr. Bat to continue talking, also the dog following you all out the road and then last but not least your fear of thinking your family may not be home when you arrived .........all played on something tragic that was to happen that day. Thank you, Mr. Lyndon for allowing me to meet someone so dear and loves nature even as I love nature. he never knew me but because of you I met him, respected him and honor him in my heart. I salute you and Mr. Harry and will miss Mr. Bat.

Lyndon thank you so much for sharing this special video of Mr. Bat with Mr. Harry. Everything Mr. Bat talked about was his message he was getting at the time. From a spiritual point. He , Mr. Bat was a strong believer in Christ. I am so proud of him for that and nothing could hold him back. His calling to be with God was showing quite plain. It would have been better if he had finished his conversation instead of going for a walk. He is now with his Master . One thing you establish was about understanding and love with you all. Lyndon,you know, in the ending up of the video.when you went home and was talking to kimberly ,with that look on your face showed that sign of telepathy,that was the time Mr Bat soul was connecting with yours that something was happening with him,maybe that was the time he was dying.When people are so closely connected, they have that telepatic connection. So sad. You are blessed to have known this soul. So sad of his passing.

Good morning Lyndon and family. I started this video yesterday, but had to leave as it became very emotional knowing the ending. 😢 Mr. Bat .....what a great loss! Life experiences allowed these two "bushmen" to talk with so much knowledge. Simple truths! Lyndon thanks for introducing and sharing Mr. Bat and Mr. Harry with us. ❤ It was a learning experience for a lot of us. They both enjoyed sharing their knowlege here, without hesitation. I have this whiles viewing videos on TH-cam I would also scroll to read other people's comments,for some unknown reasons I did not read any I watched the listen to Mr Bat ,Mr Harry ,and you Lydon conversation and I thought to myself that when I am throught watching the video I will then made a comment about what Mr Bat said about school,schoolchildren of today and the comparisons that he made when he was a school child and today's schoolchildren,it was enjoyable to hear him ,not realizing that at the end of video I will see that Mr Bat has died tragically in an accident on a road that he would have like the back of his hand .Rest in peace Mr Bat ,you are flying with the angels looking down on your beloved Caura forest.

They say we must live each day as though it's the last, and this was true in the case of Mr. Bat. I was thinking of searching to see if I could find any videos uploaded by Mr. Bat, but it is too late now. I know no one on this channel, but I felt a connection with the people in the video, especially Mr. Bat, he preached up a storm in it.
