Before I go on a cold call session I watch Climon's call from beginning to end... sometimes - errrrrrrrrr - rewinding back to the beginning and watching again!!!
This is EASILY the best call opener I've ever heard - DISARMING AF! And THAT is the goal. What a blast breaking this down with you homie. Always a pleasure joining these Matt-- thanks for having me.
Great video. I think one thing that makes him relaxed is that he’s not afraid to go against a lot of the “rules.” For example he has a high pitch voice, he keeps using upward inflections towards the end of his sentences etc. most sales “gurus” would say that’s a rookie mistake. He’s applying the psychology principles correctly but when it comes to the delivery he’s doing his own thing and doesn’t care about the “rules”
His respect went out the window in 3 minutes after he had said he wanted to be respectful of her one minute. He stopped only because she stopped. Is it really appropriate to ask how much she was paying? Is being audacious / too familiar equals being good in sales? Good attitude. Professionalism- not so much.
Not trying to be mean but I would have hung up sooo much sooner. Likely before the "20 No's Comment." Been married for going on 21 years and even though I try-when my wife says No it is pretty much going to annoy her more if I keep asking and still be a No. This lady was very polite and hoping he would get the hint but he did not and it went on waaay too long. Time could have been better spent on someone who doesn't have a best friend already providing similar service. Better to spend more time with people saying "maybe" that you could turn into a "Yes" than a "No" upfront hoping after wearing them down with 20 No's they will finally say Yes and then No-Show on your appointment. Just saying...
I hear what you are saying. No could be a real objection or a brush off. A lot of times, it’s a brush off and people are just saying “not interested” because that’s what they do when salespeople call…you can turn these into a meeting if you respond the right way. Other times, no is a real objection that cannot be overcome. I agree. If she has a best friend that does this for her, it’s not a great use of time
He is probe cycling with her and simultaneously building rapport. A no today is not a no tomorrow. He cleverly built a small relationship, she even left the door open for future calls, and or potential leads to additional clients. This is a smooth psyop - thanks Matt for your content and channel. Always proving fresh tips and ideas that are immensely powerful for sales reps!
Bros opwning was cool, but then he starts talking abour football. You gotta be on the straight line. Because that alone made it seem like he's not an expert at all. Just my experience commenting on that

Andreal Climon. He is the truth!
He is the 🐐!
Which power dialer should I use. Have you ever used GHL power dialer ? if yes how was your experience with that?
I don’t use one now, but I have used connect and sell and we just got Orum

Im confused, did the call end with a booked appointment? hmmm
nope, it did not
That’s damn crazy 😂❤❤❤

So much for her 1 minute. He didn’t respect her. And “you guys” is way to casual.
It sounds like his style wouldn’t work with you…it’s def not everyone’s vibe

I really don't agree with the hype around this clip. The dude was clingy and a bit annoying tbh.
Interesting. Thanks for providing another perspective Johnny. Different styles vibe with different people for sure.
what’s the black guys name
Andreal Climon
