I have a game breaking bug where I can’t take missions in Stanton after being released from prison, I’ve tried all the work arounds and nothing fixes it. I put in a ticket so I’m just waiting for them to either fix my account or fix the issue in general. It’s fine for now because I’ve moved over to Pyro and I’m enjoying my time there.

I dont think the PvP folks realize how big the engineering thing will hit them, physicalized components means that ship crippling is more common, it will defo add some interesting dynamics to fights as what modules get damaged will vary greatly
I must admit, I just hope we see something other than combat focused PvP stuff. It seems like CIG have shifted their focus entirely on player conflict, combat and competition instead of a more cooperative life-in-space style sim that was so much of the focus in the early days. 2025 will be quite a pivotal year for the player base, and how CIG sets the tone and expectations going forward will be critical for players to know if this is actually a game for them or not.

Im eager to see the new bounty hunting system come in, they made it look like a lot of the functionality is working, but I think some of the ships like the Stalker might need a rework first since the standing cells aren't likely to be used anymore with the pods coming in.
From the top of my head I would use gameglass to on/off engines, takeoff/landing requests, landing gear and open/close ship doors. I guess i might find some more usefull options.
Hi Ryan, server meshing may not the messiah you hope it is. It's in 4.0 thats true but they have stripped a ton of features out that were likely conflicting with it or slowing it down. Lately most streamers are full of praise for how well it runs. I've played a good few hours of it over the last 5 days and I agree it's buttery smoothe. That sounds more like a lot less engineering than the foundational meshing tech itself. But take this all with a pinch of salt as I dont work at CIG
No doubt the first step will be to nerf the Guardian with extreme prejudice. After all it's purpose-designed to be tremendously popular among solo players, which means it'll end up in a lot of their KMs (having to dig into EVE parlance here because one never can tell what verbiage Little Susie doesn't like on any given day) and we've already seen what happened to the last ship to do that. Beyond that, maybe completely shattering the grav-lev bike driving model for old time's sake?
I plumbed in as much data as I could from all available sources over the last 13 years into ChatGPT for analysis regarding Star Citizen and requested it analyse all known data and give an estimated date at which Star Citizen 1.0 would be launched... the result was not good... Anywhere between 2030 and 2035. Truly shockingly awful. And even that was contingent on a boat load of pre conditions being met which presently are not. If you had have told me 11 years ago when I purchased that I would be wating circa 20 years before a full version launch, I probably would have kept my money. As for 4.0 being a new foundation, it is a hell of a flaky one, but then I remember 3.0 was also pretty appalling at the time.
How do you like the Crusader Intrepid? Thinking about picking up the bundle for getting into the game for the first time. I know the Titan offers more but I just like the Intrepid.
She's a solid ship with an impressively low signature. Kitted out with low signature components She's practically invisible. Internals are pretty comfy, too. If she looks good to you I can't really find a true problem, other than shield strength.
The Intrepid is just one of those ships you can live out of in my opinion. Not as nimble as others in the Starter category but it has all the nice and new interior features you might want for trying out different gameplay. Just don't get too much into the habit of buying ships if you decide to play. Most are actually quite affordable after you find your own favorite gameplay loop not to mention cheap to rent for the day.

I want ships to tumble and deform on crash landing instead of going up like confetti... make it inoperable but let the pilot survive!
This is partly what maelstrom is meant to achieve.
Ships will not be destroyed in the future. The design is disable, as ships are very valuable. Crashing in atmo will also not necessary destroy a ship.

I came back to the game after almost 5 years of break, and the only thing I see new is a lot of bugs, the game is unplayable, wait, arena commander is the only thing you can spend a few minutes on
Thinking of buying the game can i just play PVE?
Whats next? How about fix up this shit so i can actually load in?
All the need to do with the next patch is FIX 4.0, the servers run really smooth, its the bloody bugs!! they need to take a lil time out and get it up to some standard so we can enjoy the servers lol..
Im not really fussed about any new feature i wan the game in a state where i can play it!!.. shit i cant even land my fkn c2..lol
I'm sorry to tell you this, but nothing will happen "this year" 😅
👍
Bored of seeing that ship bro 🙃
What’s next? At this point scrap the project start over..who test this crap? Rocks on planet hovering above the ground…worst idea of inventory/ drinking I’ve ever seen in a wanna be mmo…F-for eject highlighted in middle of qt…worst flight model I’ve ever seen…. Let’s face it. The only thing they know how to do is make ships that’s it.
❤️❤️❤️👀❤️❤️❤️❤️💯
Thanks for the video.. feeling that with server meshing finally in, so many other systems and features can start to be introduced. Also with the focus on stability/performance next year should make 2025 an exciting year for SC.
Second comment wooo
If a game company spends 700 million dollars to get a game to the place star citizen is now then I'd say don't waste your money on a game that is never going to be any more than mediocre.
