I've adjusted the levels for future video uploads, but in my noob-ness, I have not got the voice and music channels split for these videos *facepalm* Hopefully the music levels will be better, but you might be right that the music could do with just being switched off in the guide videos, I'll try it on the next one

Yeah that's very understandable! IMO min/max is for people who love to optimise and increase their win rate, not for those looking to play casual It's probably the worst thing about Deity that it pins you into a smaller set of strategies, whereas everything was still viable on Immortal This is actually why my favourite form of the game is multiplayer. You get to play strong players but with more elements of strategy viable like wonders and war. Unfortunately it takes a lot of time to play a MP game

I knew about the Production Focus trick but I did not know that an unemployed citizen also generated one hammer. I've always just left them working on the farm. I also learned that two City State friends equals one City State ally; never knew that. Thanks for your help.
No worries! Glad you found some tips helpful in here! The most game changing one for me was definitely when I realised 2 friends equals one ally (minus the resource gifting)! Made me realise there's so much to gain from friending certain CS, which is much cheaper than allying!
Yup, I was pretty bad at music and editing back then, I've worked a lot harder in adjusting the levels on recent streams and guides, particularly now I have a mic than doesn't have latent noise!
