I love how soft this version is. I think his talent has progressed so much over the past few years--he's always been talented, but his sound has really matured, as has he as an artist. It's great to hear this done more recently, to hear the differences in how he plays it these days.
No matter how much time passes and how many other bands/artists I come across, nothing compares to this guy. This is probably my favorite version of one of my favorite JM songs.
I saw him play this live, I've seen him twice, and another in december.., JEESE, He is TRULY amazing. One of the BEST live performers I know. Sends chills up your spine, great job!
dark blue led me to jack's mannequin, so naturally that has more plays than the rest of the songs like 150 plays in itunes, and its still not out-played and its sucks because i found out like a year ago that the rest of his music was just as awesome, and i could have been listening to that too all this time.
this is the first time i've ever been able to see the tattoo on his left forearm. its way cool. it says "music" and thats all i know. i cant see much else. he is so talented and so adorable!! I LOVE THIS SONG!!!
a gorgeous vlice face and talent. the piano is so soothing, i think its the low notes he plays inr the background, the low part he should be singing but singing something higher, maybe this is a genuis symbol, or maybe i over think things
the way i over-thought it .i saw it as a genuis symbol. he plays the low notes that any other guy would be singing, but he's choosing something higher. choosing the path less traveled.
I'll always find my way back to his music, one way or another
this song is such a work of art, even after all these years. still the best version.

He's a Gift to this World.

Andrew can do anything. He's truly a special talent with a unique ability to paint unbelievable pictures with his piano playing and great vocals.

Of all the songs I love and listen to in this life this song has held a place in my heart and will forever.
perfection. absolute perfection.
I just wish there was an album version of this...
I love Jack's Mannequin videos because the comments are always so positive and happy.

Incredible solo performance of this great song. Nicely filmed, too. Love all of Andrew McMahon's stuff.

ugh. Andrew needs to do a 100 percent acoustic album and a 100 percent strictly jazz album.
Is this recording session available anywhere?
perfect descripton.
He is more comfortable playing then he is talking to people
Nice double entendre.
sheet musics for this would be amazing
Someone PLEASE post or transcribe sheets for this if you've figured it out. This is the most amazing piano version i've seen.
I agree, sometimes you get dickheads but this man is such an insporation!
I wish I could get this version with just the piano...not with the other guitars like in the acoustic version.

that would be great!
@Musicman120595 The bridge?
Hi.
for some reason he reminds me of milo ventimilla
Do you have The Resolution too?
is that good ridiculous or bad?
Andrew Mcmahon is god.
mp3 anyone.........????
What happens at 2:05?

i prefer the acostic verision than the other 1 he does
I didnt even bother looking for what your talking about but if he does the reason is because he had cancer. He lost all of his hair at one point.
Yeah, bruised got me hooked, and I over played it. But it takes A LOT to overplay a jack's mannequin song. A lot.
3 people out there that don't have ears
rofl
bare with me... lol
Most of the views have been mine.
3 people didn't get a mixed tape from their girlfriend
