    In 1980 I resides in Thompson. Pisew Falls you could lay at the top of the river before the drop, in a type of spoon ladle erosion and have the water cascade over you. One of the most wonderful days of my life.
    Also from that vantage and with the suns refraction the hill immediately to the left had cranberry red glitter. What would cause that?
    Being a hard rock miner out of Thompson I had an idea.
    It was and should still be a wall of garnets. Picking around fallen boulders with fist sized garnets were scattered.
    On the opposite side of the highway is a trail that cuts through the woods drops down a hill with an ancient trail headed directly at the sun.
    At the base of the hill 2 old statues on each side look like Venus of villendorf ladies with cupped arms holding/collecting water.

    I have never been to Manitoba. But I did recently visit Minnesota and it looks kind of similar.
