Dear Cynthia: During Covid, I learned to play ukulele by watching your videos. Now, four years later, in another moment of great sadness and uncertainty, I clicked on this video. Hearing your voice and playing along with you on this and several other of your play-along videos eased my heart and mind at a time when it seemed that nothing else would bring comfort. Thank you so much for reaching out to so many, providing us with joy and the means to express our creativity in good times, and providing us with succor and a feeling of connection in times of need. You truly are a gift to this world.
OK, make me freakin' cry on a random Wednesday! In other words, an excellent PLAYABLE-BY-HUMANS version of a classic, performed beautifully. Thank you.
This is absolutely beautiful!! I'm so happy to learn this song. My father sang this song constantly when i was growing up, it brings me happy memories. Thank you so much for this!!
Hi Cynthia, I'm very grateful and appreciative of both your talent and especially of your sharing of music. I'm an American music & art teacher in Thailand. I teach the drums, acoustic guitar, electric lead and bass guitar, piano, vocals, music history and yes, the ukulele too! Here in the provincial capital of Chiang Rai which is located in between the mountains at an International & Cambridge University school I often share your videos with my students who like to play along with you! Thank you for blessing us with your creativity! A Tall Texan in Thailand, Ran
I love your videos ❤️ I was improving my ukulele skills watching your videos. My ukulele was stolen last month but I still watch your videos to hear your voice. I took a break on ukulele but you go girl! ❤️🔥❤️🔥
She seems more beautiful and better everything!! Imagine all the work to keep herself healthy and beautiful and to keep practice and becpmw better even she was already perfect!! Inspiration!
So beautiful and beautifully performed, as always.❤️ Hi Cynthia, I hope you remember me. After I lost my ukulele and got another, I had two surgeries on my left arm and my fingers don’t work right anymore. I also broke my rib/fib on my left leg in three places (Motorcycle Mishap) and had to have surgery. My leg still isn’t right after 10 months. Now, I’m scheduled for back surgery June 2nd. ALIF and PLIF, same time. Anywho.., I was moving my dusty ukulele about two weeks ago and just for kicks, I tried to play. It brought back memories of Live Lesson Sessions online with you and everybody. And riding my motorcycle to SF for a Ukulele gathering. Meeting you and all the TH-cam Ukulele Stars. The Ukulele Family around you were always so wonderful to me. I miss it and I started to cry a little. I miss that feeling of accomplishment playing the ukulele. Since that moment, I have been working on “Let It Be”, everyday, (at least 5 minutes😉) using your TH-cam tutorial. Thank you for drawing me into playing the ukulele more than three years ago. I’m sorry I got lost but, I want back. I need it. I feel it pulling me in that direction again. I don’t know what to say but, Thank you again Cynthia.🤠 Chipper

31 Years ago my wife [playing a big 12 string] sang this song to me on our first date. It brings a tear to my eyes every time I hear it.
