@@QuartuvLarry - actually, all the other late nite hosts - leno, conan, letterman - were amazed by him. They all were stunned that he broke every rule in the book for late nite TV talk shows and had such a strong following.

and why did CBS DIDN'T GAVE THIS SHOW A LIVE BAN??? WERE THEY AFRAID THAT THIS SHOW WAS GOING TO LETTERMAN? the executives tried to keep this show so low budget even so they have a huge space in the studio but they kept it empty.

I miss this show, too. It was always so spontaneous and dang funny. It takes a certain kind of comic genius to take such a "free form" kind of show - and make it funny regardless of who the guest(s) were. Great clips!

He never should've stopped! What a legend, he and his crew are so likable, he is witty and an extremely good conversationalist. I never watch interviews because of the host, he is the one exception.
from what i understand the actual cbs people didn’t love craig too much, and once letterman retired in 2015 he no longer had someone to look out for him

Networks are more interested in hacks who peddle stuff, look at Letterman, most succesful chat show host in the US and all he ever did was hold up Cd's or DVD's and say "Check this out, buy it today because it's swell and you are consumers!"

If I remember correctly, Craig just got tired of doing the show. He was traveling most weekends to do stand-up as well. I remember when he announced his leaving and he seemed so happy and relieved. I also remember his last two years he let robot skeleton (so funny) have a lot more time during the monologue.

Think they're from Britain. Some of them feature ladies starting out dressed exactly in this manner, the executive/realtor/office/secretary/etc. Sure look great.

Craig was a just s fantastic host , and Beth is super awesome , and hot as well, and all the other staff that worked on the show, & Geoff was pretty funny , the vibe they had on this show was truly 1 of a kind, like my comment, and comment if you want Craig back with a talk show
Dana is not perfect, she is beyond that - she is unforgettable! Some say her voice sounds like ScarJo. I think she sounds like a dream - the rare woman I wouldn’t mind listening to all day. And night!

I'm sorry they never gave "Beth" more material. Having her stand quietly in the dark while Craig did questionable jokes was a waste of good potential, I wanted to see her get snarky. Some of her early stuff was really funny. She enjoyed holding down a dance floor and looked good doing it. I miss "Beth".
