As of today, the Soul Hackers 2 update went live, which introduced a newly 3D demon in the form of Pixie's Soul Hackers design, so I will rank it here A tier: I'm not a huge fan of her outfit, but that purple bob haircut is SO dang cute. You put that Pixie's face on classic Pixie's body and you've got a 10/10 demon right there.
The moment I saw this game had Dormarth, I automatically thought of you since you wanted to see her in 3D. & for her to finally get a 3D model in Soul Hackers 2, when her game debut was the 3DS version of the 1st Soul Hackers is cool & very ironic.
I've been wanting Dormarth for so long it was awesome to finally see her. I mainly remember the video I made in preparation for the announcement of SH2 involved me saying "Maybe we will see Dormarth" and she was one of the very first demons confirmed in that first trailer, so I was pleasantly surprised.
This is absolutely my favorite aspect of this game. I love seeing neglected demons get space to shine in 3D. Not sure how I feel about the game overall, but every trip to see Victor has made me smile!
I bummed that La Llorona didn't get a 3D model!!!!!😭😭 I was rooting for her!!!!!!! D×2 please don't fail me now!!!!!!!!!! Lol hope there is a Soul Hackers 3. I will do anything to obtain a 3D model of my home girl!!!!!!!

Not necessarily demons, but i’d like to see all the signature personas from the classic trilogy in 3d some day. Seimen kongou, vulcanus, maia, hades, nike… there’s a lot of cool designs here that would look awesome in 3d. If i had to go with regular demons though, the list would include krishna, lucifer frost, tzaphkiel, queen frost and minotaur. Krishna for being generally cool, lucifer frost for being silly, tzaphkiel for being a more biblically accurate angel, queen frost for being an awesome design that has only been used twice, and minotaur for being the best minotaur design i have ever seen in any piece of media.
If they do ever remake the first two (three) games I hope they can give some of the personas an update since alot of them look really mid, at least compared to the the hashino trilogy
@@dljb7463 Plus Masao's Ogun is just the demon design from Devil Summoner and isn't a original design at all. Poor Mark, was really done dirty compared to other 😞😞😞 (at least Yukino, Nanjo and Eriko did get some justice and their personas got It a update/more unique design in P2 duology)

As someone else who ponied up for the super expensive collectors edition, it really is kinda BS that we get an Ai-ho figure but not the actual in-game demon.
Sweet work. While it is great to see some old designs finally be brought into the third dimension, I wish we got a few more. That said, it is cool to see Dormarth get the 3D treatment. She looks great, and I knew that she was one that you were hoping to see pop up. Hopefully, some more designs will be brought into the third dimension soon. You should do this series but on the demons of Devil Survivor 1&2 (Baldur, Jezebel, Septetrions) and SMT Nocturne (Kikuri-Hime, Oni, Gozu-Tennoh, etc.)

I WOULD get this game, but the fact that the DLC is so egregious and greedy is disgusting. Like yes, Persona 5 was basically the same, but here's the thing. Costumes are fine. The characters never canonically use anything than their Phantom Thief outfits while in the Metaverse. Even though previous games have all costumes unlockable, I let that slide due to costumes being just, a regular norm for dlc. Extra Personas were fine, since again all of them were non-canonical since they are from other protagonists/important characters. If this game just did the costumes, that would be fine. But LOCKING AWAY AN ENTIRE STORY ARC AND IMPORTANT REOCCURING DEMONS BEHIND BEEFY PAYWALLS IS STUPID.
I don't know much about the game, since i have no real interest in buying it, so I'm not aware of the DLC thing, what exactly did they lock behind a paywall? I'm curious, plus I love some good old-fashioned corporate greed
@@anonymousalien7417 First their is the booster item pack, consisting of things like stat boosters, extra money and "Unlimited EXP Data." This is very standard for recent Atlus RPGs. Plus there is useful item pack and it comes with the Very Hard dificulty setting, this one is free though the fact the a difficulty setting is not built into the game is weird, it might save some device storage but it's a difficulty setting why is it a dlc. Then their is "The Lost Numbers" story arc, again Atlus locks certain quests behind paywalls like with smt 4, and it cost $10. In a way it makes you $70 to experience all the story content like with recent AAA games. 3rd is the costume & BGM pack, like Persona 5 this a dlc that gives extra costumes for the party and music come along with it. Though unlike Persona 5 you can't purchase each costume and music set seperately, meaning you have to pay for all of the sets even if you're going to not use some of them. Also the costumes only apply in battle meaning that the customer is giving money so the characters look different in battle, the description for the DLC doesn't state this. Finally is the very egregious Bonus Demon pack, like Persona 5 it gives hands you demons and first time buying them in the compendium is free. I think the issue lies in the fact that the demons in the pack appeared in previous games. The fact that Mara and Satan are locked behind the pack should speak for itself though, and I'm dissapointed that Nemissa isn't given a sidequest for Soul Hackers 2. On a side note the Mary Costume and the Ringo Jack Frost variant Ai-ho are only accessed through the "Premium Edition" so they punish the customers who bought the normal or deluxe edition because they didn't cough the money for premium.

Very disappointed they didn't added more Demons in, especially when a bunch of races are lacking in numbers like Jirea, Yoma, Reaper, Hero, Fury, Lady, and Drake. That and I'm starting to get tired of the same designs of Demons as well, like I wish we gotten human Queltzecoatle, humanoid Garuda, Elven Cu Chulainn, the cooler Hanuman, and.....well, what Dx2 has.
