Was a great fun track. Some fine old names lined up there. Remember once going there and seeing wolfie chase the pace car! Notice no fancy expensive tyres on , run what you got. I'd forgotten how fast Ainsworth was.
Shit racing back then, most of the white tops spun off or popped thier tyres. Apart from the handful of drivers who were more interested in driving than propping up the bar. But the social scene around the sport was unreal. Great day/ night out. Totally classless sport.
Spent many a great afternoon as a kid watching the racing at both Hartlepool and Newton Aycliffe. Many happy memories 😊

Look like a great tight little track great raceing
Those were the days eh? Nothing but 15 feet of grass between you and the fence.
I was at that meeting aged 10/11 . Roger brown is my uncle. Roger is part of 217 team nowadays
The state of the tarmac is unbelievable.

Dont know if it was edited but didnt see any yellows for any crash, less bothered about injury in those days😂.

Unfortunately the footage was unwatchable, Typical VHS tapes, So had to cut it short I'm afraid.
