@ZHVICTOR --thanks for your comment. I agree. It is unclear. The watch in HQ is no longer available. Why are you using the 5th edition of APA? The 5th has been replaced by the 6th.
@DuyAnh1 --the date of the edition you are looking at/accessing. If you got the essay from a book, use the date the book was published. If you got the essay online, use the date it was posted online, etc.
DuyAnh--the APA 5th edition came out a number of years ago, but some schools still use APA 5th. That's why I've kept the video up. Ask your teacher which edition you should be using--5th or 6th.
@shaneek1000 -- don't forget that this video is on the APA Fifth (5th). Most teachers are using the Sixth (6th). So be sure to ask your teacher which one he/she wants.
Take a citation from the journal website & write it step by step according to APA format. It I am talking about the references. I think that would be more helpful for us.
Hi, Can anyone confirm - In the video it looks like on the title page in the upper left, you literally enter the words RUNNING HEAD, before the title. Is this correct?
Terri--in the 13 years since this video was made, APA has changed a lot. You may want to look at the current APA style guide: th-cam.com/video/jPOo93d596A/w-d-xo.html

Cool. You can use tab or the hanging indent triangle.
Congrats!
If it is a colored underline, check the spelling again and then ignore the underline
Thanks for showing me how to use the hanging indention, that helps out.
Started my Masters and was confused about the APA refrencing, Mucho thanks
