I'm a single mom, my baby's dad hit me for the first time about a month before my little girl was born, and the second time it came, I ran, knowing I had to protect my little girl from this monster. I had to run to my parents house for the night, but I left my stuff at home so I had to stop by the rite-aid to buy a toothbrush to use for the next few days, and this song came on the radio in the store. 3 years later, Julie's my everything and I'd never make it through without her around.
Why this video doesn't have a million views is beyond me. This had to have taken a ton of time and effort and it came out amazing. Job well done for sure

Haha. Heard this song years ago at work. Our GM VP had incredible taste in all genres of music. The vast majority of which were non-mainstream, and he would absolutely blast music throughout our company's intercoms, which was a very large and respected cooperation throughout our state mind you. This was one song I was introduced to and digged it. When I found out it was about his dog, that was cool! I had a Rat Terrier for 17 and a half years. Every time I, or we would arrive home, he would already be standing upwards on a couch up against a window looking out losing his mind, happy that we were home. He passed away in 2013, and we buried at our family's plot at the cemetery in a nice little casket at the feet-end of my deceased brother. We all miss our little buddy so much! He literally had a personality, or dogality I should say, I guess. Haha. ⚘ Rest in Paradise Trigger! 🐕

What really dissapoints me is that Fountains of wayne is really only known for Stacy's mom. They have so much better songs than that like Mexican Wine. Both this song and Mexican Wine were released with Stacy's mom but it overshadowed some amazing songs.
This song was used as the opening credits S04 E06 of the Good Fight... The following episode opened with a John Prine number... They're paying homage to the people that Covid took from us. The more I love this song the more I want that orange sociopath asshole in jail for life... Too much talent perishes at the hands of the absolutely sinister and talentless as they plague the world with nothing but diseased garbage for ideals. Knowing Adam's fate, hurt me that much more to listen to this. Blessings to him and all the visionaries making our world livable somehow with their joyous truth & irony...
