Agreed. Arguably the best and most dramatic match of 2022. Both players refusing to lose until the end. One of the best matches I’ve ever watched 👍

@@rewa97197 Smith won 2 major titles and importantly won the biggest major there is. Ofc. van Gerwen played very good this year and won even more majors. That's why I put them both at number 1

Missing Van Duijvenbode vs Ross Smith WDC 23
DVD vs Searle is just such a heart-warming game.
Clear respect for each others game - Those two and Clayton are just making me smile.
MVG plays superb but the "I need to focus" excuse for not getting happy about other peoples nice plays is getting a bit old.
Missing van Duijvenbode vs Price World Series final in this list, should be number 5 imo

I would replace the matchplay final between gezzy and mvg with the final at players championship finals between mvg and cross
Too. Cross MVG was high class spectacle. 170, 9-Darter and for the most time AVG over 105 from both players.
Without the 170 break and the 9er cross would probably have won it
@@julianfrank9673 I cheered for Rob as always. The 170 was the neck breaker. If Rob breaks in this leg he throws for the lead. But it was just class from MVG!

I think the DVD vs Searle match was the best.
I think Raymond Van Barneveld v Michael Smith at the grand slam deserves a place, Honorable mentions are Aspinall v Rock at the wdc, great match, Jim Williams v Gaga, Gaga v Price was iconic, MVG v Aspinall grand prix final, MVG v Rob cross players championship final was very good too

Criminal that Cullen vs MVG isn't here!!! Cullen missed the most expensive match dart in darts history, an absolute thriller. Not to say any of these should miss out but I'd give Price/MVG from the Prem a boot to make room

Best matches, no Clemens/Williams or RossSmith/DVD, both from the worlds, come off it! Bar the final of the worlds, those two were possibly the best of the year!

The name of the video doesn’t need the word ‘best’ in it causes it’s a top 5.
The World Final is massively overrated. Apart from THAT leg it was not close/tense nor played at higher standard than any of the other games. Not even close to Top 5 for me. And all that being said it wasn't even 2022.
Smith vs Van Gerwen was not in 2022 and also not the most amazing match if you count the World Championship as in 2022 if you ask me, Price vs Barney is certainly missing here btw
