I agree this is an excellent monocular. High-quality optics and impressive build quality. Clarity and sharpness is excellent. I've been using one for about 10 years and its still as good as the day I bought it. Came with front and rear caps (in 10 years the front cap has never even thought about coming off of mine), tripod screw and Picatinny rail mount, a lanyard and a cheap soft case. Mine has gotten banged around a fair amount, never had a problem with it. If it got lost/damaged/stolen I'd buy another one in a heartbeat.

German Sittner Yes, it shakes, so one leans on a pole or tree 🌳 during use.

You could always just remove that lens cover from the monocular and put the lens cap in your shirt or pant pocket ya dufus.
