So, even if Buck wants Eddie to not leaving, he can't confess his feeling to Eddie because he may think that it's unrequited and fear that it will even push Eddie further away from him. He also has no other way to convince Eddie to stay in LA because he knows Chris is Eddie's first priority. So, he will see Eddie leaving unable to do anything and will be more than devastated after that. Falling in love with your straight best friend is like the most of the most dramatic queer trope. Now, it's up to Eddie to realize his feeling and come back to rescue Buck.

I don't think they are actually going to go with 2nd one, despite how this episode played out. especially considering ep 9 was already filmed & ryan was on set and on gavin mchugh latest insta post with the video call from ep 8 (the same ep as this scene), Ryan replied see you soon with a wink face. Ryan is hinting at something with that comment.

The sooner 911 stops using the name Tommy in scenes, the better cause the people who weren't able to see the plot device for what it was are STILL holding on to hope every time they hear that name no matter how clearly the surrounding context, interviews and articles say it's over. Agree. According to some reports some of the buddie fanatics harassed the actor and he had to leave the show. It's possible that the actor for Eddie is leaving the show bec of those same fanatics.
Tommy will always be Bucks first dude and will live on in cannon unlike Buddie which has only happened in your imagination. No matter how hard you try to erase Tommy, Buck will never ever ever forget his first.

@@trancedoutkid I am not opposed to Buddie but I don't see them going there on the show. I am not sure why the Buddies are so opposed to platonic love between Buck and Eddie. Take it from an old gay guy who has lived a full life, those are the relationships that last. Romance is tricky and can easily ruin a good friendship.
@LydiaLask-um6qg the chemistry is from the actors the bait is from Ryan Murphy. His productions are always unknown to have a lot of gay bait. I wished the fanatics would have give Tommy more time as even in the show Tommy even stated that he was just the first. I wouldn't be surprised if both actors leave the show. A small group of harassers tend to ruin shows.

They can make a whole series dedicated to them dealing with the move.
Plus it is a great way to show aromantic 🚫🌹 true love 💗 with them doing something practical together and enjoying their company in the meantime.
There are so many options to end this story so, let's wait and see.

As a single parent, i feel sorry for him but he should try to discuss with his son first because, going to El Paso without telling him, wouldn't be a good idea. Christopher doesn't want to see him so Eddie would be alone over there and Buck would be even more anxious.
Don't forget Eddie's testament, that could play a role too.
If Eddie had an accident, Buck could ask Christopher to come back. Eddie would open his eyes at the end of the episode and smile to Buck and Chris... Maybe it could be his "wtf?" moment or not, but it would show that their friendship is more important than anything. That would be great too.
Buck could phone Chris and try to make him realise what his father could do for him etc etc...

Eddie doesn’t know that. Buck is still pining for Tommy and has been with other people most of the time. I am sure Eddie does but hides his feelings. Bucks wears his heart on his sleeve.

Buck would never get to this point in thinking about relocating without talking to Eddie about it, even just as BFFs, but that’s clearly not the case for Eddie. I personally think he’s just majorly emotionally repressed and never learned to integrate himself or his life with a partner, including Shannon.
