Sebastian Bach is timeless legend epic!!
Sounds amazing, especially at his age. You can tell he has taken better care of his voice than he was a few years ago. There is a video on here from 2019 that sounded not so good. Props to Sebastian!
spectacular, he just got back his voice. amazing performance.
his breathing is all off.... so sad, diet and repetition
He sounded like ass.... Wtf are you smoking?
He sounds like Ethel Merman.....
@@officialpoa3171 make it better than him bro
@@officialpoa3171think the same, it isnt that he can sing but he Is out of shape , people seems to forget u need to breat to sing, in the kicking AND screaming tour he was in shape, thin, the extra weight he gain these years make him scream More because even in chest voice he lacks Air, Is His breathing not His actual singing
Omg I listened to this song so many times. The lyrics.....amazing! Love you Baz!
💋💋💋
Wow! Sebastian sings amazingly good! One of the absolute best rock singers in the world🤘 Without a question!
I remember finding Slave to the Grind at the library when I was 14, my life then changed forever...
This song could kick all of our asses!
Max respect!!!! Axl Rose said only time he was intimidated by an opening act were skid row. They have to go out there and out do them. Gnr had their best performances when skidrow toured with them.
Wow. Awesome vocals still. And even more heart. Great rocknroll
This is one of the greatest Skid Row songs ever. I’ll be seeing them in a few months and plan on getting this song for my channel as well. nice work. Bach in his prime was one of the greatest male vocalists of all time. Incredibly powerful and beautiful voice.
I will agree with you on this song...My favorite!
You put this eloquently, He had a golden voice. He will always be known for that. I love this song so much! I will always be greatful for hearing him in his prime. I do still, However, I love his enthusiasm. This man has music engrained into his soul. I love that he never quits and stays true to his self always.
@@kellyparker8879 i haven’t been following them and I had purchased tickets….. and was disappointed to find that Bach was not actually touring with him. Erik Gronwell is the new singer but he is fantastic by his own right. He’s really a very very good singer and the closest they could ever come to Bach. Impressive stuff for sure.
@@kellyparker8879 th-cam.com/video/1WaLJ5rON3/w-d-xo.html 🤟
such a good song, Bach doing a little Ozzy with the hand waving in the air.
Not really, if you watch their 80s concert he is waving his hands it's his trait.
Are we saved by the words of bastard saints... How rock and roll is them lyrics 🤘
props to the fan in the audience screaming 🤟
One of my all time favourite songs ✌🏼❤️
Mine as well
@@MetalKReactions ✌🏼❤️
Same
This is absolutely their best tune. I know 18 and I remember get more play but this is the best!
Omg he sounds amazing! So happy to see him singing so well like back in the Skid Row days ❤
Sweetie! Tião é brabo 😍
Props to that guitarist for holding the lead down and switching so smoothly between the guitars. Tough to do without a rhythm guitar to hold it down.
That's Brent Woods from Wildside on guitar btw! 🎸 🤘
Hell yeah! Rock n roll at its best!
People want to compare Erik with Bach. We have to analyze both in the same measure. Will Erik still be okay in a few years? Bach was an icon in his time. Erik in my view is just a singer and Bach is a Rockstar. Erik is completely devoid of stage presence. He is a studio singer.
No comparison, one made the music and the band(the legacy) and the other just sings his material. Baz is the real deal 😎👌 the new album kicks ass too, "skid row" has nothing new worth mentioning...I wish they would bury the hatchet and give us the reunion tour we all want.
it's like returning to old year,
when I heard his vocals
PLEASE COME TO INDONESIA!
What acoustic Guitar does he use, is it a Guild?
The dudes best date has passed, no buiz in SR.
🙌🙌🙌🙌🤟🤟🤟🤟
I have seen only one 80s band that still sounds awesome and that Tesla, watch there 21/22 shows they still sound just like 30 years ago.
Check this out...th-cam.com/video/qybPRfiw6bw/w-d-xo.html
Did he get his voice back? A few years ago it had gotten rough
You should check out any stryper or winger live shows. Those two bands, as much as chit they took sound absolutely amazing today and really can't be beat when it comes to great live sound.
@@Thats_UnfortunateNo he didn't, it's still rough unfortunately. Jmo
The cult sounded amazing when I saw them open for guns a few years ago. I mean amazing.
Amazing! and by the way Let´s Go Brandon!!
Hell yeah let's bring it together Biden and fix what Trump fucked up.
@@miamikid13 yes!!! Lets raise the tax n gas prices n lose retirement n forget how to talk n have our children hang in drag clubs!! Mmmm
I wish I was wealthy enough to be that ignorant of the current state of the economy
There is a backing vocal track here. They are all singing good but there's more voices in the audio than what's onstage.
it's a delay effect
Oof that 4:36 and on was actually quite painful to listen too. I loved Baz back in the day, but how people are saying he sounds amazing, or he's still got it...no he doesn't. This is what happens when you don't take care of your voice. No thanks Skid Row has Erik and I'm more than fine with that. Save it people it's Jmo.
Totally agree. I dont know what people are listening to, but he sounds horrible on this song, sadly, cuz its one of my favorites. Time to start using backing tracks or give it up Sebatian.
You can never really judge by a video. I went to a concert a few weeks ago that sounded spot on I almost thought it was a recording until a few minor mistakes, but the video sounds painfully awful. The video didn't reflect the performance at all, so this could be the same thing
@@bodhi6769 I do get it I wasn't actually there, but videos from the last few years all pretty much sound like this with his voice, so it can't be all the recordings are bad quality and how come every Skid Row performance from the last year Erik sounds great? If it's bad cell quality then wouldn't Erik's vocals be not so good like Bach's because of the 'bad cell phone quality'? I'm not putting Bach down btw, but when he doesn't sound good, people jump to the defense that what I'm hearing is a bad cell phone recording, but like I said the last few years have all been bad recordings?
@@shellybean9 him not sounding great is like, your opinion - which is fine, btw. However - He hits the melody (4:36) in tune, he does it with energy. He's like 60 or something so obviously he had to adapt the technique. Seems like nowadays it feels more comfortable for him to add more grit than before in those high registers. Still - he sounds full and is not thin/nasal as fuck as opposed to this guy from Motley Crue, for comparison. You may not like his TONE nowadays, but saying that he is a bad vocalist or he did not care for his voice is just bullshit.
EDIT: forgot to add this shit is hard to sing even for most 20-year old guys out there...there's maybe 2-3% of all vocalists who are able to sing this kind of stuff. When you talk about that other guy, Erik - you're talking about the best of the best. Bach was the best of the best in his heyday too. Still is great for 60
I remember Bon Jovi decribed the band as "bad" and somehow I thought he was using the literal form and not the collequial form. I avoided skid Row for a while until I actually listened to 18 and Life and was 4ever changed.
Sounds killer vocally. Might just be the camera, probably is...the drums sound so flat and not the full sound I'm looking for. Again, got to be the camera. Bach nails the song and him and his band kill it with the skills and energy. Would love to see him play.
Damn!!! He sounds better than ever!!! ❤❤❤❤
Iam a vocalist.... Such a hard song to do.. he nails it all the time
Poor Sabastian. He's awesome, but the band is weak AF. He needs dedicated members who are INTO it, plus 2 guitarists, not 1.
@@shellybean9 Nah, you're being too hard on him. Obviously he'll never sound how he did, but he still has his sound, decent vibrato, can't hit the highs but how could he? Anyway, with a stronger band, I think it would help him shine better.
On the other hand, sometimes it's just time to hang it up.
sounds like someone gargling water
How the mighty have fallen :-(
we need to tip the man at concerts cause music good but that gut is holding him back from higher ticket prices and credibility as far as a go to show.
geeze what a disaster!
Bach without Snake,Rachel & Scotti...is not Skid Row...
@Ryan Levering still not skid row...without scotti,snake & bolan
@Ryan Levering just like Bach...wasnt an original...easily replacable
@@sheldonrourke3607 Bach is the real deal , we all know he is a difficult personality.their latest singer (skid row) is literally just a voice from a tv show, just a boy singing some words.Skid Row cut their nose off to spite themselves by not sorting a deal with Baz
@@gtjoyce still think the kid blows fatass away!!
@@gtjoyce a boy singing words? He grew up as seb as his favourite vocalist. He modelled his whole vocal style on seb ya twat
That sounds f'ing horrible. Sounds like Vince Neil singing it.
can't sing like he used to but he's still ok. skid row is much better tho
Классная вещь!
ERIC GRONWALL SINGS BETTER THAN BACH IN LIVE WITH DISCIPLINE ESPECIALLY ON HIGH NOTES
That's what youth gets ya.
Let's hear Erik in 30. We can't be 19 forever. No hate here, but we all age. I love Baz, but Erik is also fresh.
@@kellyparker8879 Erik is already 35 years old and a Father, not a boy. He is much older than Bach was in his prime(21-24). He started to sing around 18 years old and he have been a singer since then. He fronted "Heat" for 10 years. Just so you know.
😂1000%👍🏼
Bach SUCKS!
Just sing. No banter please!
Horrible, no wonder skid row doesn't want to work with him any longer
god he sounds horrible
Laughable compared to Erik Gronwall version. 😂😂😂
Erik Gronwall… 💯 better singer and version of this song.
When Bach was in his prime I'd have to say he is better, but time wears on the vocals and being young has it's advantages.
You are comparing one of the song writers (bach was credited for the lyrics) that is now 60s years old to an hipster of 30 years.... compare them both in their prime and feel the difference of what skid row wrote with bach to what they wrote with gronwall. The last album was average at least.. the first two skid row albums were out of the leauge!
@@retropowerit The Band was young and had their prime time then, all of them(liked many of the band). Bach is a Rock-legend who had lot of energi and a stage presence(with little help from drugs and alcohol, but thats Rock'n Roll). In his prime Sebastian sometimes was incredible good Live, but not very often. And not for a long time, a couple of years(21-24). Erik is already 35 years old (a Father who had defeated cancer, so Hipster I don't understand at all) and he is not as young that Bach was in his prime. Erik is already older and still take those high notes after have been a singer for a long time now. Erik can sing almost every thing and he is the better singer of the two of them. Bach just sings like Bach do. But Bach did sing in the 2 best album and no other singer could do it better. It sounded Skid Row. You have your point. The new album Is good, but not in the same era. There for It not gone be the same succes. And it have nothing to do with Erik. Erik Is a fantastic singer. Just listen! th-cam.com/video/PDtxNMlLbGk/w-d-xo.html
@@greatlife9638 Just some thoughts.. Erik si indeed a technical good singer and also very gifted.. no word of disagreement. Helas Bach was genre defying.. and he lasted MORE than 20 years between skid row, last hard man, solo career etc. Now Baz is old and lost the pipes (not all of them.. but most of them). I do not see Erik else than a "coverman" in the new formation. This is the main problem with skidz.. it is the band that got worse too.. they lost the magic.. somehow they tried a good resurrecction with Erik power and determination.. and the new album ain't bad at all.. but there is no comparing to the band in their prime. Helas it is too late for them.. there is something wrong between the memenbers alchemy.. they sound detached and stuck. Skid row was something else.. maybe it is time to let the past rest.. and maybe Erik should find a good band of its age and try to write history.. not to be history. He doesn't deserve it.
@@retropowerit I can understand some of your thoughts. I have the same feeling then It comes to Nazareth, who is one of my other favorit Band. At the same time I think it's good that old Band still Is on the road/tour. But Skid Row have also produced new good music. So for me Skid Row really is alive. And for Erik, I just love his voice. Even then he did sing for HEAT. But I respekt your feelings and thoughts. Take care...
